I would put that second verse on Come Back Baby up against almost any verse ever. Go back and re-listen to it and study it. This is my favorite album of the last 10 years or so.
Pusha T as such a unique legendary style, even though it's very traditional rap in some ways he comes off to me very much in his own lane as a subgenre. That Kanye Wyoming era was wild with manic creativity. The back story is back late 2016 Kanye had a mental breakdown on the Saint Pablo tour and was put in basically a mental institution. For all of 2017 Kanye was out of the public eye and silent. Spring 2018 he returned announcing all of these albums he produced and the lead up to the albums was litterally insane with controversy with the Trump hat, the Drake beef, Lift Yourself, doing alot of interviews including TMZ saying slavery sounded like a choice and also being very vocal about being bipolar. In the story of Kanye's career this 2 to 3 month period spring to summer of 2018 is iconic.
kanye didn't just make those albums in one year - all 5 of them came out within subsequent weeks, across like a month and a half - was incredible to get albums of Ye, Kids See Ghosts and Daytona quality week after week!
another underrated one that got less traction is L.O.D. by Desiigner - that one also has 7 tracks and came out around then, but I'm not sure if every song was produced by Ye
Album is nuts. Reaction was dope too. Meek mill first brought drake ghost writers to the light not pusha. Pusha was the first to tell people drake had a son he was hiding.
Correction: when Push says “salute Ross cause the message was pure, he see what I see with Wayne on tour”. He is referring to his beef with Wayne & Birdman & how birdman ended up doing Wayne dirty at the time & not paying him hundreds of millions to which he brought to Cash Money records (especially by finding drake & Nicki). So basically Wayne has to still tour to make money even though he founded the biggest rappers currently!!! But yeah it originally started as Pusha VS Wayne, tap in to that beef and diss tracks!
If you end up doing a "diss series" w your dad.. Obviously, we all know "No Vaseline, the 50/Ja Rule/Em, Biggie/Pac" stuff but have you heard the diss tracks by Ludacris and Common going at Aubrey? And speaking of Common, The Bitch in Yoo is 🔥
@@putyouon I'm not surprised you all have taken a break from the Kanye discography. Am I making an assumption that Kanye is something you want to stay away from because of current events? I'm sure there are lots of fans hoping for more Kanye reactions

That's a little much lol. There's way better Pusha verses IMO. I'd take either Santeria verses over it.
Anti-semitism be damned, the man can make a beat
😂😂😂

Absolutely iconic
Pusha T is literally the only emcee who can spit almost exclusively cocaine rap for 20+ years without it getting old or coming off corny.
Gibbs as well
the guitar in the games we play😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
Heavenly
you should show your dad duppy freestyle and then story of adidon after infrared!
Wasn't expecting this at all... I love it !

Come back baby and Santeria too good
1:02 I believe he did each album in a week if that’s wrong he definitely released each album on every Friday during 2018 summer
Will you do It’s Almost Dry as well
Absolutely
All 4 of the Wyoming albums were made over a span of a month.
Pushat T!
5:37 he said the thing he said it

Him saying he’s easy to understand on the first track.. I guess he knows
i think your dad might find Grimes interesting! Miss Anthropocene is the most varied but all her albums slap
I think y'all should listen to Rick Ross Deeper than Rap.
Are you going to cover the Duppy Freestyle and then the Story of Adidon? With the follow up video of Aubrey crying at LeBron James
Yes yes
If you end up doing a "diss series" w your dad.. Obviously, we all know "No Vaseline, the 50/Ja Rule/Em, Biggie/Pac" stuff but have you heard the diss tracks by Ludacris and Common going at Aubrey? And speaking of Common, The Bitch in Yoo is 🔥
Never was fully in love with this album... But damn it's pretty good huh

What would meek do is definitely a Drake diss track also just much more subtle
need a drake album eventually! the biggest rapper in the past decade he gotta listen!
no diss track reactions
When's taylor Swift, please?? lots of love for the channel btw!!
One month not one year
little off on the annotation of the lyrics of infrared, but great video!
whats your dads opionion on the kanye incident?
Incident? You mean his opinion on the news that Kanye has been a neo-Nazi fascist for a decade plus?
Y’all should react to Kali Uchis new Album Red Moon in Venus
You're breakdown of the beef was all wrong but good video
