So good to see you back, Allie - we've missed you! Great episode about the pop-up books. Also love the suggestion below (above?) regarding a "My Career" video.
Another great episode! Thank you Allie.
This was fascinating and fun! So much excellent information…and I loved seeing so many wonderful examples of everything you talked about. Great video!
Love the series. Thanks for the pop up book episode!
Hi! Not sure if you’ll see this but I’m wondering how you got your job at type punch matrix and what jobs you had before? I’m entering the field and having a hard time finding anything in special collections (at least close to home). I was wondering if you had any tips? I know you’re mostly making bibliographic videos (which are awesome!), but I would be interested to see you talk about your career if you would like to!
Hi Hannah! Thanks for the question, and excellent suggestion! I have pondered making a "my career" video, but worried it might come across as self-centered, so I'm glad to hear there's a desire for it :) In the meantime, feel free to email me at alexandra.k.alvis(at)gmail.com if you want to chat!
Love the channel… after working at Half Price Books for the past ten years I have amassed an extensive collection of my own.. love seeing some of the rarer books from you!
Ha, I've had that same Tron pop-up since I was a kid!
Has it really been seven months since the last episode? 8-o
Ha, oh my gosh! I was thrilled when I found this copy, love that movie.
