There needs to be a class action lawsuit. This is through tax payer dollars and we as a collective have been failed.
A minute in and this guy dismisses the suffering caused by the broken NJ unemployment system. Yeah, good for the state's economy, but people's lives are falling apart because we can't contact anyone who can do anything about the problems we're experiencing. You should be ashamed.
I'm somehow not surprised that this answered nothing, helped in no way, and was simply a defensive gesture by those responsible for the inexcusable mishandling of thousands of people's right to their unemployment insurance. The fact that you were unprepared does not in any way excuse your failure to remedy that incompetence.

I have not used the NJ unemployment system since the 1990's. Never wanted to since. Now that I got laid off from my job as a result, I am waiting eight weeks to hopefully get something. I really hate relying on the government like this.

So why is the N.J governor signing new programs and businesses that have so far been over about $400 million when we need help now? That money can be used to help us. Every person that calls and gets through should be helped completely until their problems are solved. This way it gets people in and out and make room for the next.
if the 11 week extention was put in as 13 week extention, the system will not reckonize it and will NOT pay it, this is what was done to me, they say they see the money in my account, yet i am still not getting paid, the money showing is too much, SO they keep it instead of depositing the correct amount into my direct deposit, this is wrong on many levels, people in this Country are smarter then this and need to stop saying on media that it is fixed when its really not!

@@nolimitrc1 is happens to me and my family's and some of my friends too. I was able to claim two weeks ago and then stop.
I callled on the phone to claim and its telling me to reopen my claim .. i have to speak to an agent tomrrow and they told me my account was escalated like seriously what is going on
When i calll to certify for a claim they say to refile basically do another claim these guys dont know nothing seriously

more of the same no compassion or sympathy. all the excuses with the system, hiring all these customer service representatives that cant even do anything but read back same script posted on the website. Cant hire any new claim analyst either? I know people in other states that are not having the same issues and have millions of claimants too. they want to make it so hard that claimants just give up then they can keep the unclaimed money and appropriate the money somewhere else. evil greed

I was told to go to small claims court and sue the The Department of UI in New Jersey.

Why does no one get back ,with answers , I wrote my local law ,make and still no answer , they just dance around the problem, but they want us to vote for them
Heres the scary thing i got the email that i can certify for the 11 weeks i have not been paid since 1/23/21 i get the email last Saturday my certify time slot is on Monday i was able to certify but only for one week last Monday and got paid but was not able to certify for the other weeks and now this week i cant even get past entering my social and pin code its saying my certification cannot be processed ???? Anyone else had this issue? And i dont think its my benefit year end date because i have already passed it since December 2020 and got paid all the wat up to janurary 16 2021 but only one week since then

I had an interview today for a job I now realize I am underqualified for. If I happen to be offered this job, what should I do? If I accept this job and need to leave in a few days because I can't do the job, what happens to the unemployment benefits I now receive? If I turn down this job because I know I can't meet the requirements, will I lose my benefits? Any help will be appreciated!

Companies like the one that laid me off are not trying to bring back us back. I was a Manager with them for over 15 years and now they are hiring, but are hiring “Management Trainees” instead of bringing us back. They don’t want to pay the salaries they were paying us or give us the seniority we had. I wish our Government would over incentives to Companies like the one I worked for to bring us back. And these Companies I know are asking for and deserving so receiving help. But they should have to bring us back.

I need answers about my EB benefits. The subcontracted agents that were hired can not fix my claim. Just because I went ahead a opened a new claim that was found invalid. I can not certify its been 4 months with no payments. I have the letter I received by mail saying that I am eligible for EB benefits. Please transition my claim back to my original claim.

3:20 Why and how can they even laugh?? Glitch or not it’s not funny! A lot of us are suffering and scraping to get by, I applied for PUA Nov 1, 2020 and it’s now March 9, 2021... it still says “Pending”. We need help ASAP!! No one answers the phone, geez.

ANYONE: I just received a bill from NJDLabor and Workforce telling me I was not eligable for my unemployment after they approved it. I will need to pay them back, they are putting leins on my IRS and salary. WTH they approved it. I need an unemployment lawyer or advice.

They stoped paying 1/16/21 then i was able to get paid 02/16/21 but only for one week and dating back to 1/23/21 and now this week nothing and when i check my claim status it says next payable week as 02/06/2021 and last paid week was 01/30/2021 so out of the 11 week extension i was only paid 1 week and it stoped??? Im extreamly confused!
