The thumb wheel is amazing. I also like the easy change of the feet, the great lights and the stitch regulator
I agree! The thumb wheel is my favorite.
Fantastic, only one problem; now I need to get one!!!!
What a machine! Great video, Ann; and the track quilt is wonderful.
Thank you so much! Dom loved the quilt.
Wow it takes the guesswork out of everything and whether you’re right or wrong thank you
Thanks Ann for another informative video.
You are so welcome!
Wow I love it
I love it my dream machines
Your quilt was so special totally love it
Thank you. I really enjoyed making it and my grandson loves it.
omg...good job..love my M17
It is a great machine. Thanks for watching
I just got my machine and it is amazing. I am using my iPad to transfer the designs. It's an exciting machine and the accustitch is amazing. I'm hoping to learn about the HP feet too. thanks for the nice review...
Have fun!
Forget it. You forgot to mention that the MSRP is $23,000!!
The MSRP of all the new top of the line machines are similarly priced. You need to check with your dealer for their pricing and trade in offers. We are only allowed to post MSRP.
@@SuperStitchSewing Pricing on all of them is insane. I'd never even think of paying $20,000+ for a home sewing machine.
@SuperStitchSewing What a shame. The ricoma commercial machines with larger design space, and tech includes are $5k cheaper at least. :(
I’m retired, my husband passed away, we had been around the world many years, now it is time for me to be a little bit more homebound, and I just love my M17. It is everything and more. What joy it gives to me and the family for whom I sew.
I think you guys are thinking of this item the wrong way. This is three quality machines in one. If you were to get an embroidery machine, a high end sewing machine and a long arm quilting machine you would be paying more. What about the amount of space you’re saving as compared to three machines? If you read through their brochure you would see all of the capabilities it has. she really just skims through the explanation.
Hi I have the machine and love it so far. I did have the 15000 and did a lot edge to edge quilting on it. I would like to see how to do the edge to edge quilting on the M17. Than you. I enjoyed your video.
I plan to do a class using edge to edge for the Kimberly Einmo quilt. I will add it to my playlist.
Nice to see you upgraded from the15000. That is what I am contemplating now.
Thanks for this video. I have the 12,000 and the 15,000. I also do a lot of garment sewing. The lack of a free arm on this machine and the size and weight of it have me hesitant. I will turn 77 tomorrow. I just don’t know about getting this machine. What do you think?
Lynn, Thanks for watching. I am mostly a garment seamstress as well. I rarely use a free arm. What I love about the new machine is the ability to handle ANY type of fabric from the sheerest to layers of heavy denim. The new feeding system and power are awesome. Since you have both a 12000 and 15000, you could trade one and keep one to use the free arm or get a small lightweight machine like the 3160 for free arm sewing. The CM17 is huge and it is heavy. My husband has delivered and set up the new machine for some of our customers. You might want to see if your dealer can offer such a service or get someone to help. Once it is set up, you won't be moving it. Good luck with your decision. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
@@SuperStitchSewing How would I ever get it serviced?
@@lynnleipold2617 The bundle includes a really nice luggage set but you will still want someone to help you transport it.
I agree about the lack of freearm and with all the bells 'n whistles on this machine, it would have been a great inclusion. Way back when I learned to sew, freearms weren't available and we didn't miss what we didn't know...but it's really nice to have one even if it's only for handbags etc which is when I use it most of all. Physical size is problem #1 for those of us who don't have unlimited space, but fortunately we have Ann's videos to watch. ;-)
😍 is a dream WOW
Thanks for watching

Thanks if you give me one 😂😊
I love that machine bat to much many❤❤❤😢
Hi, is the lighting honestly better than the 15000?
The LED lighting on the CM17 is definitely brighter!
If I have a vector embroidery drawing on my Mac computer, can I import the file to the M17?
You will import the vector file into Artistic Digitizer jr. that comes with the CM17 or full version if you update. You need to digitize artwork, then send to the machine.
@@SuperStitchSewing Thank you very much for your thorough explanation. It really helped.
is this considered a commercial machine?
edit: have you used it for hats? How does it rival the Ricoma machines in the cheaper $15k range?
This is not a commercial machine but it has a very powerful motor. It is a home sewing, quilting and embroidery machine. To compare to a commercial embroidery machine you would want to check out the Brother PR1055X or the 680W.
@@SuperStitchSewing thank you!
Please make tutorial how to stitch curly edge of a cotton fabric it literally taking my time away 😭 its so hard to roll the hem
I'm not sure what you mean by the "curly edge" of a cotton fabric. I always start with a clean cut edge on a woven fabric.
Please how can't I get one
can you start your embroidery from any position?
Yes, it is great because the machine recognizes the hoop so you can move the design anywhere in your hoop and position with the laser.
How do you sew on leather with this machine?
The machine will easily sew through leather. I recommend a leather needle and either the

this machine is around 15,000$ out of reach of most people unless you are wealthy or have a business'
This video is a sales pitch. You talk about accu-this and accu-that,but as person not having the machine those terms were useless.
Yes, this video is just a review. We have other tutorial videos and offer free classes for machine owners.
