AutoSol Metal Polish - Does It Work On Headlights

- Hi guys, just a quick video on testing to see if AutoSol Metal Polish works on headlights, as ive seen a few videos on youtube and thought i'd give it ago.
I hope that this video wasn't too boring but serves a purpose :)

I've actually done my headlights today with autosol and they were really bad ,I couldn't believe how well autosol works ,my headlights are clear and it removed all sorts of muck from the lights ,going to give it a second go at weekend to finish it ,but what a difference

Came out well 👍. For the top part either continue with the polish or wet sand with I'd say 3000 grit sandpaper then polish it out 👍

it looks a hell of alot better just by using rubbing compound i used the autoglym headlight restore and took 3 rounds of it and it made a bloody mess if i'd known about using rubbing compound i definately would have used that and its cheaper but good vid dude
It does work to clean headlights. You actually can see what was removed on the cloth. Just remember to use some sort of wax after to give it additional shine and much needed protection.
Having good tools for a particular job helps no end, 500rpm with a buffing pad and autosol would work fine. Dont forget to coat the lens afterwards.

Rubbish next time use Brasso with wadding £2 a tin!! 10min's job done, Finnish off with any cheap car polish to seal lens, Stand back and be amazed!!!
How many times are you going to say, 'Er' ? .... and 80% loads better ? ......Maybe spend some money on shower gel and a razor rather than metal polish !!
