😂😂😂
For real 18 hours in and still open so far 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
welp theyve proven they are quite literally tone deaf so i wouldnt go that far
Brave
This is the only screen time Geralt will get in this season lmao
Is that him?
@ThePOINTBLACK_Crew nope, that's thor's brother
@ThePOINTBLACK_CrewYes thats Geralt
In my season too :D
@ThePOINTBLACK_Crew nope its Heralt his brother
The switcher 😂
😂
😂😂😂
Bruhhhhh💀💀💀
😂😂😂😂
Lol
Imagine having the perfect actor who also knew exactly how your customer wanted your series to be produced, and instead of using that talent and insight, you get rid of him and let an incompetent producer destroy your incredibly expensive franchise.
Emm . Sorry . Nope . Henry didn't look like geralt at all . Neither Liam . But dont call it perfect,just because you have thing of henry .
@Youalrightboi nobody said Henry looks like Geralt. He was the perfect actor as in he loved the role, gave us a very good performance and knew the story. This is just a superhero version of the witcher, nobody asked for this.
@Youalrightboiso who would you pick for Geralt? an ugly, sickly pale man by the books description
@Youalrightboiare you dumb or restarted or smth?
Don't need to imagine it.
"Guess they'll never learn" © Geralt of Rivia.
На русском немного красочнее звучит " Никак вы блять не научитесь" 😂
Netflix execs know best what fans want because they got a 127% better actor who’s also more handsome. They deserve our money and respect so I will subscribe dat one 🙏
@blipmachine никто не осуждает тебя за то,что у тебя два отца и ты копрофаг😊
@Arthas11 Uhh brother, that burned. And considering who's cheering for, it's also probably real.
@Arthas11 Лучше еще раз перепройти третьего ведьмака игру, что бы замылить эту нетфликсовскую дрянь из сознания... =)
Losing Henry Cavill because he was too faithful to the source material is just insane lol
Except that's not even true
@malwinajandura8959 Except that's true
@malwinajandura8959if you are stupid yeah, it's not true
@malwinajandura8959 It's fair to say it was true. producers and writers said he was hard to work with - we know verifiably he was hard to work with specifically because he fought to keep things accurate to the source material, which the aforementioned producers and writers were straying from (demonstrably to the shows detriment)
@malwinajandura8959 It is m8...at the end, he wanted to keep his integrity over screwed project...When he saw, that producers ignored him. Witcher books are perfect, no need to change things, fans do not want to change things. So what the hell....
Producers are like my ex, never admit their mistakes and never know when to give up.
The producers are woke, and paid to make woke propaganda. So, they do.
@JimEadon Henry Cavill wanted out and Netflix wanted to keep the show going. They made an offer to Liam Hemsworth. It's that simple. Not everyone is out to get ya, Jim. Leave your dirt road and you'll find there's more out there than mtn dew and chicken nuggies. Still using woke as an insult in 2025. Imagine. Get some culture. And I don't mean the kind in a petri dish.
Well said.👏
@nurabunnyhe wanted out because the producers and writers didn’t want to do a live action adaptation of the books/didn’t respect the source material.
@Comicfanboy5825that as well

I added a dislike too! How do we see the # of dislikes?
@stewie6720 i just look up *youtube dislike viewer* and paste the link
right now were at 30k likes and 164.5k dislikes
HOW did you see the no. of dislikes?!
@IrisRiddle As I mentioned at above comment.
@stewie6720 Simply, install 'Dislikes in RUclips' addon to your internet browser, but from producer of browser page to avoid viruses.
You should've listened to Henry.
What was he saying?
@lolokennedyto actually follow the literature and not just make up whatever the writers want
The Netflix execs cooked with this season because no one wants Henry “2017 Justice League” Cavill. Real fans are excited and grateful for the opportunity to watch Liam’s quintessential Witcher 🙌
@blipmachine 5 cents credited in your account for this comment
@blipmachineI bet your one of the people that worked on this POS.
Liam pulling heart out of the wraith. quite symbolic of what producers did to the show.
definately not a ghoul
@peterbrent1345 wraith* my bad.
Yrden would have made it promising
You got paid
yeah, right after ep 1. They butchered the series already in S1. Anyone who read the books knows this. S2 was just doubling down on spitting in the face of fans
This feels like I'm watching that scene in Thor Ragnarok when other actors were playing them in the theatre😂
😂
YES 😂😂
😂 .... I thought I was watching House of the Dragon season 3 😭
I honestly don't know how to feel, I think Liam seems to lack the grizzled feel that Henry Cavil brought to the character.
If nothing else they need to do something to make his face more rugged, he seems to lack the feeling of an immortal who has seen a lot of $#!7.
@nicholaskehler9169immortal? Dude you need to catch on lore a bit 😂 even games pointed out the usual witcher's lifespan
Henry was born to play Geralt
Just like he was born for Superman
Nothing against Liam, but he will not be able to fill Henry´s shoes by far
It's just a bad career move all around. The show is woke & disrespects the source material. The ratings are terrible and fans won't be coming back, so it likely won't get a 5th season.
I feel sorry for Liam. Gota feeling, he is gonna regreat this role.
Nobody can fill Henry's shoes.
Yeah because he's way better with more charisma
@blipmachineahhh yes. One of those new dumb 'raigebaiters'...
This whole situation needs to be studied and the turned into a "do not do this" documentary to the rest of the industry.
There's simply too many examples of that over the last decade - I can only conclude everyone is running The Producer type scams where losing money is the goal - there's literally no other logical answer.
the idea of this show literally had so much lucrative potential
They gave a rabid, idealogically lobotomized, preachy feminist activist the reigns to the Witcher TV Show, they knew what they were doing and they did it anyway.
Too late, the industry is all but dead.
This and the last season of game of thrones!
Geralt is wearing the costume from Ghost Rider.
Cost cuts
holy.... your right its almost identical
I was thinking instantly whyis he wearing a biker jacket. Good call.
He's the wraith rider :D
Looks hot though
When Viva La Dirt League parodies are better than the "real" stuff
OMG YES
Remember guys: don't blame Liam, blame the Producers.
He didn't have to accept the job
@FansFAXHe is a the witcher fan, if you were in his place i bet you would accepted too
@FansFAX so?, are you gonna be a bitch and go threat him for working?
@FansFAX it would’ve gotten canceled lol
or they jus would’ve found smb else 🤷🏾♂️
Poor Liam. He looks like he's cosplaying Cavill playing Geralt
Yeah but he's getting paid and nobody's blaming him for this train wreak.
@somethinglikethat2176 too true. but it DOES look worse than that first ever test outfit they had for Henry...
He looks closer to witcher from the game than cavil tbh
It’s literally a Halloween costume!
@somethinglikethat2176 yeah but there’s things that can destroy your credibility as an actor even worse than his already was I guess
Almost dislocated my hips running to the comments section

I don’t know how to feel …
Can we watch an episode before we judge?
Same here
@ahmorganyes of course
Same!
Tell me its not like watching a SNL version of Geralt tho 😂😂 i bet its ganna be more comedy this go around. Nobody could be so intensely serious whilst being compassionate on screen quite like Henry, especially playing Geralt.
Just to point out, the showrunner keeps mocking up the source material, so don't expect this show to be faithful to the books....again. reason why Henry Cavill left.
I mean, yeah. The writing is shit. Books could be so easy to adapt and they are impactful / emotional. Everything basically that the show isnt since the very end of S1 where they messed up probably one of the most powerful moments from the books - where Geralt finds Ciri in the middle of nowhere in the time of war as part of Child Suprise law - AGAIN. Proving to him that somehow Ciri is special and destiny shit is real.
In the show? They dont even know each other, their encounter is ridden of any emotion, as they mean nothing to one another.
They messed up then and there already. If you dont care about characters and their relationships - something book they disregarded does great - why should viewers watch the show? There is no connection, no respect for source material they basically threw away entirely in S2 where Yen tries to murder Ciri for stupid reason - who in the books is basically her daughter. Yeah, its shit. Its actually astounding how much they managed to mess the story up - basically got rid of it in place of a cheap fanfic that accomplishes nothing better
That scene alone showing geralt to be an apprentice noob.
I thought he left because they couldn't get him away from his trailer because he couldn't stop playing with his Warhammer miniature armies.
@kptmaci4979 The worst part was henry cavill took a 70 percent pay cut on the entire show because they promised him they could make it more accurate to the books if they just had more money. He was supposed to be payed 2.5 million per episode, he took 500k per episode and only took 1 million per episode for season 3 when he realized they were just fking him over
Lauren Hissrich is insanely untalented and Netflix is the wrong producer for serious, mature, grounded Dark-Fantasy and any kind of fantasy which isnt targeted towards teen girlies and weirdos.
They got my guy looking like 1995 Raiden From Mortal Kombat
Dont disrespect raiden like that 😂
I hope they paid Liam enough to live with the aftermath for this.
not a chance
Ohhh nobody is scared of unemployed loser cavill fangays
Honestly most of the comments look like they have no problem with him, they just think it’s weird and the producers are idiots lol
What aftermath? He wasn't that much of a celebrated actor before Witcher, if anything this whole Witcher debacle will elevate him a bit, not too much though.
probably
Netflix: "Hey we could print money with this"
Producers/Writers: "Nah."
For real they should have paid these actors whatever they wanted to make this thing
@ThomasGray-l3w5j It wasn't about money. The issue was writers and showrunner butchering the source material and making the show significantly worse than it could've been.
Don’t blame Liam, blame Netflix!!!
Nah, I blame him.
He still accepted the role and paycheck despite knowing how much fans love henry, so yea we will blame him and he asked for it all
Blame Lauren S. Hissrich
@sumedhk4148anybody would accept opportunity... Even your Indian Arse would despite knowing people love Henry
@stanlee06 We do
Those 30k likes must have been expensive for netflix
Silver for monsters, steel for Netflix
Writers of the show wouldn't even understand the reference.
Steel for Netflix, silver for Hissrich
@yrsa7637
To reference another world: Netflix paid the gold price but will still reap an iron reward
JAJAJA muy bueno, pero no creo que lo pillen
That swaggy, terrifyingly confident Witcher look? Yeah… Henry walked off with it. 😅
Yes ^^
Haha, I felt the same way Liam’s scowl looks so forced, like he’s trying way too hard to channel Geralt. If this was the scene they chose to showcase him, my hopes aren’t high. At least the Yrden Sign looked solid, though props team must’ve studied up at Kaer Morhen
Which is the complete opposite of what Geralt is supposed to be. Geralt isn't confident, he's prepared, but he's not stupid enough to know something will likely go wrong which it usually does. A lot of people from the stories actually think hes ugly due to his scars or treat him like an outcast because of what he is.
@lerenard5110geralt is confident just not cocky
@4589dude 😅 Pretty much what I meant, but more succinct. I read "terrifyingly confident" as cocky, which I kind of feel like Henry's Geralt was.
The Witcher won't be the same without Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia
wont be, but dont blame the actor to try his best to fulfill the boots
It was always a very bad adaptation of Sapowski's books, even with Henry.
@rpgadventurer32Henry knew that fact and didn't even try to defend the show in any manner which shows that every fans in the series are disgusted by this adaptation
@rpgadventurer32 yo be fair if were going from the books Henry an awful Geralt.
Henry Cavill was the closest thing the show had to getting Geralt right. He clearly loved the books and gave it his all. But let’s not confuse his effort with the producers’ terrible decisions. The moment they started chasing ratings over story, the show went off the rails. Same is about to happen with House of the Dragons they are already showing the same signs - more focus on drama, cheap shock value, and sidelining what made the world great in the first place. When producers chase clicks instead of respecting the story, it’s only a matter of time before the magic disappears
Geralt of Nickleback really looks even worse than I thought in his 80s leather jacket from the Thrift Store :D
If you have to chose between replacing an entire production team who don't give a shit about source material and replacing one actor who does, do the former. It might seem costly and disruptive but it'll do wonders for your bottom line in the long run. Live and learn!
They really should have taken lessons by the success and critical acclaim of One Piece. What happens when you actually treat the material with respect.
Netflix (and the rest of Hollywood) are incapable of learning.
@somethinglikethat2176 yea they think they are the ones to "educate" instead of entertain the audiance.
Well, thank you Netflix for that trailer ! I really appreciate you helping us avoid wasting our time by showing us how bad that decision was to remove Henry from the show
He removed himself.
@adamscottvthey forced his hand.
@adamscottv Smart move considering the dogshit fanfic they came up with hahaha
Henry couldn't save it
He removed himself with writers straying away from the original story
I feel like i just watched a bad fan film
I've seen fan films better than this trailer
I was just about to comment this.
Ah yes fan films are renowned for their world class CGI and well known established actors
It's all fan fiction
@Smash_252That cgi did not look good...
0:58 - it was here, this is when you lost me.
yeah i was like wtf just happened... looks low budget and super cheesy
This tv show without Henry Cavill is like Pirates of Caribbean without Johny Depp !!
It's not the Henry Cavill Show. I adore him as much as the next person, but you guys need to let it go.
@everlynevins they couldve just wait until the next chapter where he dies but no
@Vannillageralt dies?
Really. So it’s gonna be great.
Idk what's up with HENRY'S Timeline....
He gets a Role, blends in it... And the Studio Fks up...
Eg: Superman. The biggest Fck up and WB hands to The white head clown.
Witcher ripping out the heart from the wraith's soul.... EXACTLY what Netflix did with Sapkowski's work.
100%. Off-topic, this is not how I anticipated to find your awesome channel, Michal :)
@ihabiano I Appreciate it, thank you.
Netflix you killed the Witcher.
It wasn't even good from the start...mediocre at best.
They did it in the first season.
Since the beginning
Ah yes the Temu version of Geralt
netflix: ARMOUR ⛔, BIKER JACKED ✅
Lol 😆 He does look like a biker in that leather jacket🤣😂
And by the way that's croc leather
You guys ever play the games?
@WeaponsAndArmorGamesCome on man, you can't tell me that Henry Cavills armour doesn't look sooo much better?!
@WeaponsAndArmorGames Have you?
He fights like the writers write, flailing around and hoping something connects.
I've read the book series twice now. Its sooo good! What the hell were they thinking with this show? Its so far removed from the source material. If Netflix stuck to the books, like Henry tried to do, they'd be printing money like crazy
Agreed! It's too bad these terrible people they get to make these shows are to hell bent on creating something that's theirs. That was putting it nicely that they can't stop smelling their own farts.
The eff Henry tried. He's an actor, a mediocre one at that, he just did what he was told to do and got his payment for it -- more than any of us will ever earn in a lifetime. Cavill left because he wanted more money from bigger jobs in Hollywood like Superman, but it backfired on him.
@Sashimi1408 Henry may have even been fired for being impossible to work with, if you believe the rumors...which wouldn't shock me, given his behavior in interviews and how the other actors reacted to his leaving haha. And yeah. He's fine or whatever. I don't think he's been at all compelling as Geralt, and anyone who doesn't understand the protag is Ciri doesn't get Geralt.
@Sashimi1408 Clueless.
He wasn't impossible to work with they found it impossible to follow to story lore which he'd point out to them. They found him an annoyance doing so.
Geralt of Rivia from Temu🤣🤣🤣
Henry... you will be missed!
Liam... Good luck friend.
My exact sentiment. I like Liam, but this... Looks like the CW took over..
@donniehensley6963that's so funny!!!
He's defo gonna need it.
@donniehensley6963It always looked like a CW show. Girl power thrust forward and Geralt sidelined in his own show. Clown Show. 🤡
@neondemon5137It was never his show, not all of it at least
It's just not the same without Henry Cavill... 😢
It is the same movie writer my friend 😂😂😂
@elicutemedia A different actor though translating those writer's/writers' words into scenes. Its how they contextualize, emote, and project that would be different.
@elicutemedia its the writer that makes everything worse about this show lol
Well, since we dont have any other option...I'll suggest just watch it and enjoy..I know cavil is irreplaceable...but there isn't much to this show anymore, ill wish it ends in a good way...whatever changes they made accepted..
Relax. This series will end with season 5 so soon it's gonna be over
Bro is fighting like my first playthrough 😂
😂😂😂
Savage!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh that was crazy.....am light headed
😂 Ga Dammmnnnnnn.
Netflix being Netflix.. Trying to repair something that was not broken
I'm from Poland, I read the books and I dropped out in the second season when one of the witchers turned into a tree in Kaer Morhen. At that point, the series stopped being like The Witcher.
"One of Witchers" IT WAS ESKEL
in an interview with Sapkowski when asked about the Netflix show, his initial reaction was a laugh.
@JesiAsh to be fair most of witchers were minor characters in the books
@JesiAsh I'm currently watching the Polish series The Witcher from 2002, which cost 18 million złotych That is 5$ million dollars , not $92 million like season 1 The Witcher from 2019 , and it's much better, more captivating, the stories told there are engaging and valuable, and it shows why Geralt was such an exceptional Witcher. and although the special effects are weak, the atmosphere of the Witcher is epic
I havnt seen the show but what do you mean one turned into a tree?
Even Discount Hemsworth can't save this
OML you are vicious for calling him that 😂😂😂
Next season on “Finding Ciri” …
These producers never fail to disappoint
Henry Cavill as Geralt made me FORGET he was Henry Cavill. He bodied that role even when the writers gave him nothing. I have absolutely nothing against Liam but I feel like I’m just looking at Liam Hemsworth in costume.
I’ll see if I can manage at least the first episode- I’ve sat through worse 😩
I feel really bad for the poor guy. If Liam had been Geralt from the start, it probably would have been fine. But swapping actors almost NEVER works out for a show, especially when it's the main character! Netflix has really set Liam up for a lot of shit with this one.
That's my take quite looking at it through the lense of it being Henry if he never played the roll people wouldn't think anything of it Liam will never do it like Henry did but people are setting him up to fail before hes even started . Now the writing of the show is one thing it's crazy how bad they screwed that up but I'll say he looks the part it's not like they chose an actor that dosent look like geralt they did but well see how it goes .
if i can sit through 1 episode of the acolyte i can sit through 1 episode of this
His Geralt was pretty bad though and not at all book accurate.
Серьезно? Да ладно,он же отыгрывал супермена ,как обычно,лол. Забыл он)))) в принципе смотреть этот позор,после 1 сезона - это себя не уважать
Henry Cavill is my Geralt. Made me feel like I was still playing the games. RIP to what could've been💔
Сериал дерьмо- с кавилом ,без кавила - никакой разницы
There is a mod for Witcher 3 that make the Witcher look like Henry Cavill in the game. At least there`s that...
Синтоловый уродец ваш Картина.
Henry Cavil You were right to get off the boat before it sinks.
Mom: We have geralt of rivia at home
Geralt of rivia at home:
The Witcher Netflix series will go down in history as one of the highest potential flops in history. Lauren Hissritch had to go out of her way to successfully dismantle one of the easiest wins of all time.
Classic…women with the L yet again
@Thezazaas No reason to make yourself look like a fool with a sexist comment. Plenty of men and women alike have made stupid decisions like this - Hissritch is not the first and she won't be the last. Be better.
@ThezazaasJfc red pill losers are everywhere.
Mr.ForeverAlone here acting as if there aren’t shitty male producers and shitty male writers.
One of them, but i think GOT takes that cake
Easiest win, if executed properly. 5 seasons worth of books. Can go even further if they want to add Witcher 3 lore. Already established fanbase. Henry Cavill attached to the project.
They chose to destroy it all.
Geralt swinging his sword at a wraith is the most “unwitcher” thing to do
Also thought so, a witcher comes in prepared and with a plan. He would know what would be effective or not.
I think the point is to show the audience that it can't be hurt by physical attacks for anyone who wouldn't know, but they still could have come up with something better.
Yeah bro, just drop the Yrden sign and then start slashing
@DarkAllianc3 But then proceeds to die to physically losing... her heart? lol real
I think the Point was to let do all that to distract that ghost and do that triangle on the floor with its own movements..
I'm sure Liam can bring a perfect amount of acting skill to the role, but if this scene is what they wanted to show to get people excited for the show, it doesn't bode well.
It's so bad. I'll blame producers and writers. Maybe directors, but the actors can only do so much with hot trash.
‼️
You do realize they also cast Laurence Fishburne as Regis? Like Liam, I have nothing against the actor, but Regis is described as slim and sinewy with grey hair and a crooked nose in the books - not portly and bald. Neither Liam nor Laurence are right for their roles, and no amount of acting is going to suspend that disbelief.
wtf just netflix has done with geralt of rivia
He didn't even bother changing his voice to sound like Geralt, it just sounds like Liam dressed in Witcher Cosplay.
‼️
Or his facial expressions.
fr fr
australian witcher
His head is too much if a egg and not a great actor
Look how they massacred my boi
Netflix execs know what’s best for the IP and what real fans actually want. They cooked with this season and gave us an “upgrade” in the form of Liam. We should be grateful of the opportunity to watch wonderful storytelling on TV.
@blipmachine 38 comments and all it is are lies and cope. go touch grass and accept the fact that TW is done.
@blipmachine bot much? your "cooked" reply is all over these comments like a chinese ai bot paid by netflix to try and salvage the mess they made of the beloved Witcher books and games.
@mshumaiI just thought blipmachine was being deadpan sarcastic. 😂 But you're right, probably a bot.
I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO RELEASE A PARODY OF THE WITCHER!!!
This made me laugh. So thanks.
Geralt of Cribia from Temu 😂
I want to be very clear that I am downvoting this trailer because of the producers and Lauren Hisswitch specifically and not because of Liam, whom I quite appreciate as an actor.
Land of Bad was badass, but he shouldn't have sign up for this. I hope they pay him a lot.
Totally agree. Liam is not to blame, the Producers and Writers are. Who knows? Maybe the Producers and Writers have learned their lesson, and will make Season 4 & 5 more closely follow the books?
Really good in Land of Bad
Liam is actually not bad as a Witcher. Too bad he's replacing Henry, who was THE witcher.
Same, down vote for Netflix, not Laim, I am actually thinking of canceling my subscription....
Geralt of TEMU 😂
Best comment in here!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
@HYDROMATIC81 Apparently not lol
@3amNightTerrors in my opinion it was
I don't think Liam is that bad. Just mf producers ruined the project
😂😂😂
it was hard to watch, that was only 1:36 mins, how would it feel to watch the full season
I’m happy I won’t find out.
this is geralt of riviea from *temu* 😂😂
They really threw Liam to be eaten by lions... I guess he doesn't care as long as they pay enough.
Henry made the effort to sound like Geralt. Liam sounds like his brother getting ready to fight loki.
Thank you! I was looking for this Comment! Also when did geralt loose all he's muscles and get a motorcycle vest? This looks and sounds like those cheap vine videos you can find everywhere on RUclips. They could even had casted the geralt from Viva LA dirt! He would had sounded better to be honest.
Sound like the game… which is just another actors interpretation.
The ONLY reason we have any preconceived idea of what Geralt might sound like is because of Doug Cockle. However, the books do describe it as raspy and rough. We'll see how this plays out. I imagine this will be the last season. 😢
You might need your ears checked if you think Liam sounded like Chris as Thor here.
@RogueCheepSheep "It's a wraith, stand back," just listen to the line and clear any obstructions present in your ears lol.
I can't take this seriously. there's no aura in him. This feels like a parody 😂😂😂
Like an SNL sketch
Yeh it did didn't it..... no subdued menace.
Just what I said. A parody indeed. Even the phantom looks ridiculous.
Disagree, the guy doesn't look like a cartoon, just put aside your attraction to Henry c. Give the guy a chance
Henry Cavill has this sort of grace and elegance. Even when they had humorous moments in the show, he was still the witcher, not a parody of him.
When Liam plays Thor, he seems kind of dumb or naive, like he's always making mistakes first before he learns. The Witcher is full of rich wisdom and experience. Thor... not so much. Kind of giving more ego than wisdom.
I hope they learned from their mistakes and keep the Witcher what he truly is instead of what they want him to be. I hate when films take the title of an amazing series or video game and instead of giving it it's time to shine and making the fans happy - they change the whole plot or leave important details or change important events because they thought they could do better at telling a story that's already been written and adored.... Thus disappointing true fans, and showing us they're in it for the money rather than the passion. Henry knew what he was doing when he refused to give in to these parasites... and I and a lot of fans here honor him for that.
If you're not a true fan of something you're recreating, just... stop.
Henry's voice was perfect for Geralt. Even the voice now doesn't feel like Geralt's.
And Liam Hemsworth, don't take it personally, it's not you, it's the direction that this show is going & how the producer's are changing it.
well, he's a very bad actor anyway so he had no chance - this 1 minute was cringe-inducing acting
You guys are completely rejecting a person"s perfomance and telling 'nothing against him" is straight out hypocritical. Atleast be true to yourself.
Stop crying, kids
He knew it was a wraith.. and didn't cast Yrden as soon as he saw it. Writers please dude...😭😂
Also it should be purple not blue 🙏🏻 I hope they get these detail correct
Entire Writing Staff: "what the hell is Yrden?"
I haven't even played in years and I still knew it was wrong lmao
Game fans don't understand the Witcher smh
Write it a third time, looks like you’ve got nothing better to do 😅
Just because you saw it in the games and think it’s the truth doesn’t mean you’re right! The original source is the books!
But people like you are very limited in how you perceive reality!
Even Roach is like, this isn’t my rider!
They killed Roach, remember?
@Mirona16 Just sarcasm bro chill !
he did this without the propper incantations
Them: Are you going to watch Season 4 of The Witcher?
Me: Is Henry Cavill in it?
You've watched season 3? xD
Me: is good writing and respect to the source material in it?
Is this on CW?
😂😂
I imagine that Netflix slashed the budget expecting to lose part of their audience due to the Gerald recast.
wth are you talking bout that’s just different actor, nothing literally changed
Netflix has become CW 2.0 in just 5 years.
@SaneDarkorangeBeaverclearly something did and that’s why Cavill left
Liam doesn’t look bad. I'm worried for the acting, the writing and direction.
Update: To all these comments, I share with you all that this show has lately been weird to say the least, but that's not on Henry. He is a fine actor, who is committed to all his roles. Its the show runners we are concerned with.
He doesn't have the yellow cat eyes
@theslickdevil8560Off to a great start already then 🎉loll
As if HenCay knew how to act 😆
@diploascendant ok armchair director
@jackadams911he’s right lmao it’s not like Henry is some insane level actor lmao and Liam looks more like accurate geralt than Henry ever could. The last 3 seasons could of been a lot better but you all are hating because you want to touch Henry cavills Willy lmao
This scene really made Liam a Witcher
Viewership for this is gonna drop massively without Henry Cavill as Geralt.
I don't believe you, the movie already has a strong story line and people will be dieing to finish it.
@therealdevopsinternno they wont
@cdmanjak I mean people still finished Game of Thrones. It started going downhill before the last season.
I mean, didn't viewership plummet in s3 already?
For sure!
1:15 Wtf a leather jacket?! Am I missing something or is that really misplaced?
Yeah, looks like a drunk biker wielding a sword.
He'll drive off on his Witchercycle and blast monsters with his shotgun
@lauris5275 motley crue fan just
Heavy Nick Cage Ghost Rider vibe.
Bro looks like he’s off Stranger Things in the Upside Down. Just like how the show is, upside down. 🫠
Liam looks a lot like his brother here... my first thought was, "Thor visits the Continent!" I'll give Liam a chance, but Henry Cavill was perfect for the part.
I was about to say the same.
He looks very much like Chris Hemsworth in this scene
💯NO MORE DEI WOKE RACE SWAPPING AND MAKE ROLES 🌈ACTING BASED ON MERIT AND THE ACTUAL BOOKS NOT PROPAGANDA 💯
Agree
Yes, I totally agree with you. He looks so much like he's brother. Normally this is not a bad thing, but in this situation I think it is.
When I watch the show I want to see Geralt not Thor.
And to think Liam was the one actually auditioning for Thor... 😅
Budget version of Henry
I will not toss a coin.
Thank you for making me snort laugh
everyone doesn't care
What is to be tossed instead?
🤣 bro...
@boardgameboy9938 this👎🏻
Liam has massive balls for stepping into this mess at this stage, respect.
I like Liam Hemsworth. Unfortunately he is not Henry Cavill though and he won't save the writing or poor adaptation choices where the writers are interested in everything but Geralt
Gotta respect him but also I feel a no name actor would have been better given the context. While I don't fully follow Liam, he is known in hollywood and may be better off without it, especially the ridicule he ahould have expected with the role. Ofc the producers wanted him since not only did he audition but because he is still somewhat famous which as you can see just by the engagement, will at least bring eyes to an expected mediocre ending.
A fresh face, while not bringing much attention, may be able to get their big break and potentially be a better fit for the role over liam or even henry. The studio won't be flamed to shit as hard as they are now and those who would have watched the show anyway might discover a new actor to follow. I doubt far less people would watch it with a no name actor than Liam
Worst case scenario for him is one season and a paycheck best case is that it's good and keeps going
@Pureelite93Actually they're doing a 5th season too and it'll be the last
Lol, what he is doing it for a check. He isn't his brother. So I doubt he has a bunch of acting offers.
Netflix…no one cares. They already desecrated the story and characters we loved in the sake of their own ego. The industry doesn’t learn that incessant strategy never works.
yeah it's been irrecoverable for sometime but at least Cavill's fight scenes were good back then
Huh it's already gonna come out this month and we're still got a teaser?
If Henry Cavill didn't exist, Liam is actually not a bad casting.
Anyway RIP to what could've been the next GoT.
they messed up in season 1 so i highly doubt they would’ve ever had a chance at being the next GoT
The real problem with this show and so many shows is that they ARE trying to be the next GOT and end up sacrificing their own identity. Rings of power, the Witcher, etc. All of these types of shows wanted to be the next GOT but in the process, they lost a lot of the original draw of the stories they are adapting.
The Witcher series is just so unfaithful. Do yourself a favor and listen to the audio books for free on RUclips. The original books are so good, they didn't need to be game of thrones. They needed to be the Witcher.
Lmao was never even close to becoming GoT. Always a cringe show that tried too hard
Well, GoT also got destroyed by the last season, sooo...
apparently they want liam originally. they must regret to not cast him from the start
It’s disgusting when show-runners run a perfectly good plot into the ground. They’ve all stated they hated the story and have actively worked to destroy everything that made it unique and special. All you had to do was stick to source material but instead they fail to make anything of resemblance to the Witcher. I wish they’d make their own series and leave masterpieces like the Witcher alone. but I know without a doubt no one would take interest in any of their original creations. which is probably why they latched onto a series with a strong fan base. Like parasites they obliterate everything fans liked about it. They really need to stay out of our communities. If you’re not a fan? That’s fine but don’t put your hand to the franchises that deserve to be represented correctly.
The showrunners actually value originality and “elevating” the source material to the next level. Henry’s imagination and ambition was sadly limited to the source material. He couldn’t “think big”, which is exactly what Netflix executives excel at. With Liam at the helm, it’s an exciting time for Witcher fans to see where the story goes next.
@blipmachine did you see the ammount of dislikes ? Maybe not . It's 142K dislikes and 29k Likes, nobody wants to watch this sh**
@blipmachine Are you... are you trolling? 😂
@blipmachine I assume you're being sarcastic. But just in case you are not: putting today's demographic in a medieval European setting is not 'elevating things to a next level', it is simply ridiculing it. If you are not a fan of the source material: fine, write something of your own.
@ingeborgsvensson4896
well said. The originality thing is quite funny
Wow, I couldn't wait to watch Yennefer & Ciri Season 4. Sarcasm of course.
Bro ripped a wraiths heart out 😂
Bro the dead have no hearts 😂😂😂😂
People saying he will do fine based off a teaser that resembles an SNL skit 🤣😂
Yeah sybau
@beyond.the.horizon-btd aunty right lil boy
Poor Ghost Doctor Strange 😂
Lol so until now before the Witcher went to battle with any monster, he took volume of elixirs that affected his face and eyes, guess Liams portray is completely immune to the effects… and the voice is also as if the producers said “don’t bother anymore”
Just a complete dumpster season 4 is gonna be
They didn’t think about replacing him with David Cornswet
Henry cavil no longer Superman and Geralt. Sad.
He's now the CALVARINE😂😂
He was mid in both roles.
@MetalsirenIXI stick to games
Hopefully he's building his computer, and sticks to Warhammer 40.000
@MetalsirenIXIgood job. You've triggered the Cavillsexuals 😂
The idea that Liam received death threats over a TV show role is concerning
From where did u get this information?
@HuyGaming96 erm isn't that expected when doing a pointless actor swap for a show that was really popping off and doing so well
@HuyGaming96 I've seen a lot on IG. Usually in the HC tag with Witcher content. Lot of fan comments are incredibly creepy. They even openly write manure under Henry's partner's posts. They're embarrassing.
@zahidshabir4038source
Yea some people got nothing better to do with there lives than sit in there mama’s basement and make threats
So sad the series got cancelled after season 3...
Poor Liam, he looks like Raiden from 1995 Mortal Kombat. With homemade costume.
