I have been trying to find the actual fingering style of this bol. Thank you for sharing it. and pranam to your Guru for letting you share it to all. I think the downside of Gharana system is that they don't share the knowledge. Any art will only live forever if it is shared. Must thank youtube also :)
Ranjana Amaradeva - Hi Ranjana, gharana restrictions used to be there long ago but not any more. The techniques and material are now widely available and taught openly, however you have to go to a guru to learn them.
You always provide us knowledge about tabla. God bless you 🙏❣️ . Please if possible give us some good pt. Swapan Chaudhary special tukras or chakradhars in tintaal. ~ Thanks
Wow your tabla is unreal! Ive watched a few videos of yours now and you share alot of knowledge passed down generations. I had a question however, where do you get your dayans from? They have very nice tones and resonance and Ive had bad luck with mine
@@joshuacarro I actually have had some tablas off him recently and they're great! I was wondering especially about that 7 inch one (i think) you used in your Alla Rakha 100th anniversary video
@@gurjyotmann1791 ahh okay great! That drum is a mutka das, very old shell. Got it straight from the maker and a new pudi selected by Swapanda. Not easy to get.
Regarding “practice slow”, how would you suggest to practice. I usually practice with Lehra. Let’s say I start with 60bom, how long should I practice one composition in that speed, and how many BPM should I increase the next day or whenever I feel comfortable in one speed. Thank you!
I usually pick 1 kaida, 1 gat, 1 tukra, and 1 chakradhar for my daily practice session, and slowly bump up the tempo once everything is worked out and clear all the way through.
Beautiful kaida
