+linda matt I love it. The order came in just before I left on errands so I packaged them and brought them to the post office. Thank you so much for your orders. I have a Facebook page Rag Rugs by Erin. If you happen to be willing to share your feelings about our hooks on my page that would be wonderful. If not that is fine too. Thank you and have a great week.

Sunetra, Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Please do not hesitate to comment. I only speak one language and know a few words in Spanish. You know two languages. Be proud. I once had pen pals all over the world when I was young. I love all people and learning about them and their lives. Your country is viewing me almost as much as the United State. Thank you. With a smile, Erin

Thank you. I have not made a video on that because I do not feel accomplished enough to feel comfortable making a video on that. Perhaps in the future. Thank you for viewing and sharing.

I love watching you. You have given me so many ideas. I now save just about everything.
I would like to know where you get your crochet hooks. Your help would be appreciated.
    How did you get started?
I would love to sit down with you for a weekend and learn all I can. Thank You

Wow. How lovely!! My hooks are available at my website. www.ragrugsbyerin.com I have a another channel, Halvorsen Camping Journal, I travel around and meet, visit and/or teach around the country. I am heading to Mississippi mid August to teach 4 classes. I will be traveling from central Florida to Mississippi. I was invited to stop somewhere else along the way but the person lived too far off my path and accomodations were too far away (Campground or sometimes I stay where I teach). I could not make that happen. Perhaps a get together is possible. I teach in Lake Placid, Florida at Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative during the winter season. You can follow me on Facebook, Rag Rugs by Erin or email me at ragrugsbyerin@gmail.com.

Hi Erin. I enjoy watching your tutorials. I have made one rug and I am working on another. They are just straight across crochet. Hope to start an oval rug soon. On my second rug I started very loosely and now it is far too loose. I was just wondering if I could pull the first few rows out somehow and redo them. Or perhaps pull out and crochet an edging along. Greetings from Australia. Kerrie

+Kerrie Linklater Thank you for viewing. I have tried to pull out the beginning on a runner because it was too tight and it ended up being a disaster. Maybe there is a way to do it however I have not been successful with that. Hope that helps . If you do Facebook you may want look at my page, Rag Rugs by Erin. It has a variety of posts that you might find interesting. Have a great week.

I made a crochet rug like one of yours not as pretty. what I want to know is how do you keep your rug from sliding on the floor when you step on it. I enjoy all your you rug making . hope to here from you thanks

I really do not have a problem with them slipping but my friend has very slick tile in her house and she uses the mesh like you use for shelf liner. You can buy it at Walmart in the fabric department (Cheap) and just cut it the size of your rug and just place your rug on it. Hope that helps.

Is the 21mm hook the basic white plastic hook I purchased from Walmart (the next and last size up from the blue) or is it custom made by Lyle? I do not have Pay Pal, so if not rhe same hook, can I purchase in a store? Sorry, would prefer to get from you Erin.

+Audrey Ledbetter I am sorry I do not know about this white hook. The one I am using in the video is one that Lyle made and I now sell on my website. WWW.RAGRUGSBYERIN.COM

Are the increases the same to go around the arch on the two ply as on the one ply rug?

I suggest you watch my tutorial When to Add Extra Stitches to a Rag Rug. That will help you determine when to decide when it appropriate to add extra stitches based on the way you crochet, hook size and material.
