I think it was the way they built the sensitivity and the genuineness of their relationship that made you believe that this couple had a wonderful future together. The way Jack had built their home and worked hard to be called back to Hope Valley and then to have his life snatched away when we had so much hope for them was like tearing your heart out. Turned an otherwise calm guy into a blubbering mess!!

This quality show will go on. I will miss two major characters not coming back and that is sad. Wish they could bring them back. Would think Hallmark could do something. And no reason this type show can't go on forever.
Writers and producers of WCTH, want their audience invested in their characters, then kill off the romantic main hero. I understand Dan doesn't want to be typecast into a certain character. He has a little bad boy vibe, and perhaps was bored with playing Jack. However, Hollywood can use more characters like Constable Jack, moral code is virtually non existant these days. And.... who knew Aunt Becky/Abigail was more of a Henry Gown, in real life? Personally, I think taking the plea and accepting the consequences for your actions, teaches your daughter's more, than trying to protect them. (That's what landed you in this predicament) Reality is, you need to work hard for your grades, not buy them. Admit it, be humble, remorseful, take the plea, do your time, and move on. The public and your girls would respect you more, than trying to fight it, like you did nothing wrong. (Just my opinion)

You can watch it. It's beautiful. It's difficult to think about Jack, but when you remember that was Daniel's choice to leave, you find the strenght. Start watching the Christmas Movie, it will.help to heal your heart.
I couldn't agree with you more, Kelly if I tried. I know that "Jack" wouldn't have left Elizabeth but, to kill him off means that there's little chance of a return. I think that it should have been left with a "Missing" type scenario so that should whatever Dan's decisions are that are so "personal" he could return if he wanted to. Now, it would be too cheesy (edited to add that writers can be creative and realistic if they wanted to ie: it was a mistaken call..he was captured or something like that). We all know that actors/actresses have lives beyond a show BUT, other shows also fail. It would have been nice to have written him off in a way that would permit his return if Dan Lissing had have wanted to have returned. :(.
The show will go on just fine without Jack and Abigail. Rosemary is a hoot! And, it would be great to see Elizabeth's younger sister move to town. I'd also enjoy seeing the women getting together for quilting bees, bake sales, home parties, baby showers, etc.
Hoping that Elizabeth will not continue wearing that ugly wig! If they had kill Jack when he was a the north territories it would have made more sence! Or better still not killing him and simply re-cast the character! So he got lost bla bla has reconstructive surgery and voilá
