You all its happening.. It just has to- the blended Grant family! Nathan will be a good husband to Elizabeth and adoptive dad to Jack Jr. Jack will love having Allie as his big sister!
I think that's why the writers never gave a nickname for Jack Jr. to use with Nathan. Jack Jr. has always just called him mountie Nathan. I think this was intentional on the writers part. They gave Lucas a nickname of "buddy" for Jack Jr. But they always planned for Elizabeth to marry Nathan. Then Nathan adopt Jack Jr. so he will end up calling Nathan "dad" one day just like Nathan's niece calls Nathan "dad" after he adopted Allie. That's just my opinion 😊

I love watching the older guys play with the children and babies. If they aren't having as much fun as the younger ones, they are even better actors than I thought.
I have said this from the very beginning Nathan and Elisabeth have belonged together. Since season 6 when both Nathan and Lucas joined the show, there has always been more interaction with Nathan and little Jack than with Lucas and little Jack. They only started to interact more when Elizabeth chose Lucas in season 9. In my opinion Brian Bird/writers/directors saw the viewer ship decline when so many of us who thought Nathan should have been the choice, that he/they started to rethink the storyline. I have been thinking that instead of saying you are selfish. I would like to say that you are selfless for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us. Again you did a wonderful job on this video. I look forward to seeing more. Thank you.

Thank you for letting me know. I’m wondering if anyone did the research on how many viewers they lost after Elizabeth chose Lucas. After seeing the finale in season 10. I went back and watched season 9.
@suehodges1283 well, Kavan (Lee) basically confirmed that the show wasn’t gonna survive and even the actors lost their mojos!
@mrsacos I've sensed that from quite a few of the actors. It's subtle, but they give hints that things weren't so great through S8&9. But I love this video not just for all the moments we've had with Nathan & LJ, but also it proves to the naysayers that Nathan did indeed acknowledge and have interaction with Jack Jr.
