Wish they had lego kits like this one when i was a kid. That's a petty cool model.

Excellent vid on the operation of this impressive unit .... well done !!! I'm anxiously expecting mine to arrive in a few days, and begin my assembly adventure.

Thankyou. Have fun with the build. It definitely is a great kit and extremely well engineered.

These are great fun to build, there is also a model B which is an articulated model which I've also made, and with the right mods, you can operate them by remote control, drive forwards/backwards, steer, reane and the tipper part. Both models took me around 3 weeks each to build and had so much fun. After I'd finished building model A (the truck in the video) I did'nt want to take it apart so bought another set and made model B.

That is a pretty cool set. You can snip one or two turns off the coil springs on the front shocks to soften them up a bit. Also, you can get a gear with built in clutch which you might be able to install and would keep gears from grinding at the stops.

Good call, I was thinking about doing that to the springs. Thanks for watching :)

Just building mine now, having trouble with the rotation at the base of the boom, I don't think I have enough clearance with the hoses underneath, it's beginning to get annoying

I removed one part under the battery box so the crane can rotate 360°

nice, take some building to make that truck. Nevertheless it's a great kit. :)

When I built this, I thought the dumper in the back was the easiest part.
