Overwhelming Pressure and volume strikes tends to work against counter strikers. They want you to stand there and trade pot shots with them and go tit for tat. But if you’re throwing a lot of volume they typically don’t want to turn up volume themselves and get out worked. If they have a lot power it’s a little more dangerous though because they can make their shots count for a lot. Feints are good as well because they’re already programmed to answer back to your strike with their own counter but if you feint like you’re going to throw and they throw as a response and it misses or gets blocked you’re in a better position to counter their counter strike.

Best way to beat a counter fighter:
You must counter whenever they plan on countering your counter so that you may be able to counter their countering of your counter.
