It appears as it’s scaling is compared to traxxas 1/10 is that true?

I think it's because Willys is smaller than a normal 1/6 scale vehicle and TRX4 is bigger than a normal 1/10 scale vehicle.

Willys Wheel base : 324mm
There's not much difference in size. Don't worry!

Take into account that the real willys its tiny only 400kg so arround 1/6 its more or less similar to a 1/10 of a standard truck.
