    Great game! IMO: This was my point from the podcast you gentlemen did. There was no way to stop his win without playing counter magic. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, this is why I don't like playing against storm because it's a lose lose in my opinion. Since I don't play a lot of blue, I have to kill the storm person first even though most of the game they do nothing.

    • @TheDankestDungeon
      @TheDankestDungeon 4 месяца назад +2

      Killing Corbyn was probably the correct option here, just our first time playing against the deck so we weren't prepared ;)

    • @stormincorbyn
      @stormincorbyn 4 месяца назад +1

      There's also a ton of cards in the game that limit spell casts. That also stops storm and other combos pretty handily without having to play blue. Rule of law is a good example, or damping sphere

      @@stormincorbyn yes I agree, you can play taxes or stacks but that too isn't really loved by most of the community. I'm not saying you shouldn't play storm I'm simply referencing the podcast and further explaining my comment there! Good win!

    Would love to get some insight from the crew/Corbyn on how you'd replay that deck now that the cat's out of the bag as far as the win con shown. I love the deck, how the commander says one thing and the deck did something else. if you were to play again, would you usually get more attention/aggro in the pod? How often would you be able to do that again

    • @stormincorbyn
      @stormincorbyn 3 месяца назад +1

      What a great question! Once the cat is out of the bag is when the real work begins lol. Generally, once people know what to expect, that's where I'd have to tune the deck a lot more. What cards don't actually perform the way I want? What cards can help me fight off my opponents? I did have more Rad counter synergies in the deck, but I never drew them. So I'd probably pursue that avenue as a grindy back up plan. I'll stop there so this doesn't turn into a manifesto, but again, great question and thank for asking!

    • @hainzyy
      @hainzyy 3 месяца назад +1

      @@stormincorbyn Thanks for the reply Corbyn! This makes sense and I appreciate the context about rad counters and how that can be a Plan B in future games. I've never built what I'd call a "storm" or "all in one turn" deck, but I can appreciate your take on it and how the storm can be A win con, but it doesn't need to be THE deck, I can slot a backup plan or 2 without diluting the deck's focus too much.

    • @stormincorbyn
      @stormincorbyn 3 месяца назад +1

      @@hainzyyYep! Having back up plans help with resiliency. Just be careful to have back up game plans that aren't too extreme from a requirement perspective. For example, I probably wouldn't put Tendrils of Agony in this deck because no other pieces really focus on damage. This helps the deck pivot more fluidly.

      @damianambrose7750 bro stfu cause you didn’t have to watch it either. You spent time writing a comment to blast them for playing a game with THEIR variations of THEIR commanders. People watch people play mtg in different aspects. You don’t have to play a game the “cookie cutter” way and play Rad counters and shit. They played THEIR way. Take that negative shit somewhere else.
