The Townfolks Trio is so bad, it seems like they just threw the remaining Brawlers together and justified the fact that they all live in the same town, even if they have NOTHING else in common with each other.
they all need their own trios, barley with either other brawlers that work in his bar or other robot townsfolk, piper with other brawlers that help them with her bakery and byron with other types of conmen maybe?
I kinda like how uncohesive they are? Design wise their connections are pretty minimal, though tbh I think I prefer that over everyone looking the exact same. I think their main themes are business and secrets, which is why they’re all from the same town. They all run businesses that in the grand scheme of things, are probably unnecessary for the town to have. (a bar, bakery, and whatever shady shop Byron has.) The secrets theme becomes obvious when you look deeper into things; Barley has his rage that switched on and off, Piper is a sniper, and Byron is quite literally a snake oil salesman. I might be pulling at straws though? 😭 *(This might be the biggest stretch but also the fact they’re the TOWNSFOLK trio while hiding secrets would make sense when you consider social deduction games like mafia/werewolf have the good team as townsfolk/villagers.)*
Brawlywood trio has the 3 monkeys theme, gray speaks no evil, mico hears no evil (aka his own rage and anger) and lola sees no evil (aka herself) , the trio also represents three different kind of actors fame: lolas fame got into her head so much she has the ego of a skyscraper, Gray just wants to entertain his viewers and do his job but is second fiddle to lola and mico wants to be in movies/make them himself, but is stuck as the sound guy back stage (thats why he boasts so much to the camera in his intro short) The Egotistical actress, the silent actor and the aspiring actor. All this to say, they dont deserve d tier oh and uh...the 3 monkeys theme is why mico is an actual monkey.
This is a great analogy! But even with that, most players would never make/understand that connection. Trio’s (in my opinion) should have a clear connection to where any player could spot the relation.

Lola and Buster and Fang were together in brawlywood trio until they got separated and went into cinema theater along side with Maisie. also Mico was released because it was a special day for monkeys as i remember in the middle of December, and in the short he was a liar and he was acting like he knows some of the stars but he actually wasn't he was stuttering to come up with an idea. but the interviewer knew he was lying that Mico got so angry and said his famous words (am i a joke to you?)

The issue with the trio really is that Barley and Piper barely have any design connections as they were clearly designed separately, which leaves Byron as the glue that barely holds it together. (His reds, pinks, and silver are definitely reminiscent of the other members’ colors.)
Nah townfolks is having a strange connection , Byron who looks like he just sells normal potions sells 'dangerous' potions , barler who is a bartender , throws bottles causing poison damage , and piper who looks like a sweet lady has an umbrella which is secretly like a gun . It seems as if they all have some sort of secret intents 🤨
I don't see why people don't see this. Each of these people seem safe/normal (with the exception of byron's voice lines, although they can still be seen as normal), but each has dark intentions/ secret pasts (Byron sells dangerous things/Piper used to be an assassin, and barley being a friendly bartender turned deadly with chaos. Not only that, but they each sell/give other people things (due to piper giving her goods and sweets out), and each of their jobs have a connection- local bartender, local baker, and local merchant. My main issue with this video is the fact that he wants them to look similar/have a connection on their design.

I’d argue that Barley and Piper do fit well in a trio together. Early on, before Byron came out, I couldn’t immediately tell Piper and Barley were in the same trio but once I found out it felt right that they were bc they fit into the western theme. In a lot of old western movies I’ve seen my dad watch the majority of the films would be set in the towns square which always had a saloon. Saloons of course have barkeeper (like Barley) and in the movies it would serve as like a hotel sometimes that the main characters would usually stayed, investigate, or have shoot outs in. Piper looks like someone you’d see in a saloon or western town, almost like the damsel in distress in those movies or the posh lady that contrasts with the rugged cowboys. Byron I’d say is the odd one of the trio as not many Western movies I’ve seen had a snake oil salesman. Sometimes they would or they’d have that suspicious guy that has that same energy as Byron. It would be more fitting the the third trio member was like an old times western mayor who stayed in the town hall of the townsfolk area, or a pianist could have been a third member (for the saloon). However, Byron’s demeanor does sort of give old western so he sort of fits.

also for Starr Force trio Squeak is dog drool so they all categorize into dog stuff also they have a maroon type of color matching design hoped this helped

There's plenty of official artwork with Lola and Gray acting together, Gray's reveal animation was all about how the two interact. The two show the clash of how actors view themselves, Lola being more egotistic and Gray being more humble. Mico, fitting into that, almost plays the role of a small artist acting like a big shot, made clear by his reveal animation. Plus, he's not the only one at the Brawlywood Studios helping out, as Lola is also a tour guide when not filming, as seen in her old bio. Gray is also shown moving set pieces around in his intro animation, so they all help with behind the scenes work as well I think it's an interesting take on a film set, a mix of actors and behind the scenes all crammed into three very unique brawlers. Feel free to disagree tho
for barley piper and byron i think there were 2 additional artworks for when byron was released as well as when i think either byron's second star power was released or when barley's second gadget was released
I think Junker family should’ve been S tier because Pam is Jessie’s mom, and Nani is Jessie’s nanny that was made by Pam. And the friendship bracelets too! They definitely should’ve been S tier.

Then gray is Charlie Chaplin. Micro doesn’t fit he should be a seperate trio of movie behind the scenes and the 3rd brawlywood should be an action star. Maybe Tom Cruise as the base as he does his own stunts.

Honestly, i thought of a better backstory for Moe to be in the fantasy trio: Moe was a rat scavenging for food/materials in the trash and Ash finds him in the trash, who he then takes and tries to "weaponize" Moe as part as his new super line up instead of relying on robotic rats. This plan fails as Moe isn't very good at following his commands, especially when Ash is raged. This leads Ash to abandoning Moe but Grom comes in and takes him in, thus joining the trio whether Ash likes it or not This is just what i thought of as his backstory/origin
Draco had no chance to get into the trio "Castle Courtyard", because Draco has a theme of fire and Metal, and has more of a "fairytale" idea of the Middle Ages, while the trio itself has a theme of "real" dirty Middle Ages (just dirt and slops are replaced with food garbage). Ash is a knight who cleans up garbage, Grom is an executioner who is a guard of the territory, and Moe is just a rat (again about garbage and dirt)

First: Honestly I like the Browlliwood trio, they are NOT actors, they are people who work there but want to be stars, Lolla herself is a tour guide, but really, There is a trio that is already "back stage", so much so that Lolla was supposed to be the trio of Fang and Buster. Second: As a Main Piper, I HATE this trio, Byron was supposed to be a merchant, that is, someone who doesn't stay in one place, he goes around like a nomad, Barley is clearly made for the Wild West, and Piper is apparently a soldier who cooks bombs, she's the only one who makes sense with the Folktown theme.

We have belle who is a bank robber and is a sniper And Sam who is belles partner in crime and hates robots. and then there's Pearl who is an oven robot that makes cookies and shes the daughter of Sam and belle even though Sam hates robots. They honestly fumbled with that trio. If anything she fits more into candyland than in Goldarm.

i mean mico is a boom mic operator but some lines in brawl talk and such imply hes aweso a movie director just not as good as he thinks he is but being honest the interections between mico lola and grey i think they are problably his only 2 actors the vibe micos trailer gave me is that lola jokes about him but in a more friendly way than mean spirited he writes scripts films shes the star grey is there for silence movies or more in depth storys just kinda fits from my pov but that might be me reading to deep into te conection between monkey megalomaniac and wes dont starve

First: Honestly I like the Browlliwood trio, they are NOT actors, they are people who work there but want to be stars, Lolla herself is a tour guide, but really, There is a trio that is already "back stage", so much so that Lolla was supposed to be the trio of Fang and Buster.
Second: As a Main Piper, I HATE this trio, Byron was supposed to be a merchant, that is, someone who doesn't stay in one place, he goes around like a nomad, Barley is clearly made for the Wild West, and Piper is apparently a soldier who cooks bombs, she's the only one who makes sense with the Folktown theme.
