One of my favourite towns in the world, also because various religions have always lived together peacefully. I lived there for 3 months in 2013 when I organised the expo 'Air/Port Essaouira' -and would go back in a heartbeat.

the history of my town"ESSAOUIRA" goes back more than 3000 years. during that time, phoenicians, carthaginians and romans, among many others controled the sheltered harbor.
today, the entire old town of essaouira recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site..
    Enjoy your trip

This is a beautiful video, as always my friend. Congrats on getting to 2K. We hope to be there in the next couple months. It is scheduled to be the very first UNESCO World Heritage site on our RTW UNESCO-inspired drive around the World. Thank you for sharing this great video and I hope it does well for your channel. As park rangers and anthropologists, we love when people share nature, history, and culture. We love to share these things with others also, and we hope you are enjoying our videos as well.Cheers and I look forward to seeing more of your great videos. - Turtle

I like Essaouira. The only negative thing is the smell of mold and the feeling of damp laundry in the rooms.
