      No you cannot make mascaporne with whipping cream,both are two different things, you can either use heavy cream or fresh cream according to your availability

      No, not really

      Because milk curdles differently than cream does and has different fat content you can't use it as a replacement.
      Instead you would end up with the base for several other kinds of homemade cheese. Cream cheese for example.
      It's still good but won't be what you need if you need mascarpone specifically.
