    One of the best running videos I've ever seen and I've watched thousands. The ending was like a thriller. I think I lost a couple of kilos just watching the final three minutes. Wonderful bit of filming.

      Hi Sergeant, thanks so much for the kind words. Really appreciate it. It was certainly an unusual race, with a very unique finish, and was glad to have filmed it. Wishing you all the best.

      Thanks Henrike. Nowadays I look back and smile, but to be honest it was the worst twelve hours of my life. I don't think I have the nerve to ever go back again! Are you thinking of running it next year?

    I've been gobbling up 100 mile race videos as I prepare for my first in a couple weeks. This video definitely has the best sense of humor, and I really appreciate your casual style of reporting what's going on.

    This is just amazing! Huge well done, what an accomplishment, so glad you made it. The SDW100 still remains as one of the toughest I've done.

    • @KrisPeter
      @KrisPeter  3 года назад

      Hello, thanks! Yes SDW is a lot more tough I think because the final 15 miles is just up and down massive hills. Other races usually calm down a bit towards the end, particularly in the south east of England, but that one is uniquely cruel!

    Ah mate, I'm tearing up here. Brilliant ending. I was second to last at the NDW100 2019, so know the horrible feeling of uncertainty around cutoff chasing.

      Thanks for watching! Well done at ndw100, I finished third last there in 2017 so can relate to you on that one. Such a tough course, way harder than sdw.

      It was the Yeti 100 here in the States. Unfortunately, I DNF’d at 71 miles after 4 continuous hours of nausea. I had a great experience though and will definitely try again!
      The SDW looks great! Once the pandemic is under control, I’ll add it to my bucket list.

    You had me in tears! What a journey! I've just done the SDW100 last weekend, the race got cancelled due to Covid and my crew made it possible to go ahead! My 1st 100 mils and it was Epic! Looks very different in the summer! We had to run through 14 hours of darkness! Looking forward to doing the actual race in 2022!

      Well done on the 100 miles! Must be even harder in winter, not to mention when it's a virtual race too. Congrats! Hope to see you at a 'real' race soon!
