Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Wow, Nikoline! This is an amazing vlog. I did not know that you were an engineer. I am proud of you and your friend Fancy. It is women like you who are the future of Africa. God bless you both!
Women are the Matriarchs of civilization. No man can produce another human and endure that pain...We cant even take being sick or pain from working out...If a man had to have a baby, there would be like 30 people on the planet earth cause we aint taking that pain!!!Lol! Thats how you know God is woman and man and we are made in that image.
I'm a chemist by profession with a minor in chemical engineering. I just love the fact that you both are STEM professionals. My nephew actually is going to school here in Florida majoring in Civil Engineering!! Got to put out the word in our communities that we can do this
Nikoline G!✨️ Great video!!! I was, was very impressed and surprised by u & your friend credentials. It's beautiful black women as u guys the will help make this world a better place to live. Your friend is admirable. Good leadership qualities, intelligent, knowledgeable, determined, patient and ambitious. Kudos! 👏 Not forgetting.... Pretty 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nikoline G 👍👍👍way up!!! This vlog is the reason I look t your channel, to see the REAL life experience of a Kenyan village girl... walking out of the village, walking down the narrow alley/lane/track, commuting by public transport, etc. Keep up your effort(s). By the way, you look go in the hardhat.
Nikoline G I loved this video! Seeing your friend run and manage a construction site like that one was very powerful. I wish more young people in the USA could see this image instead of the constant images of Africans in America being drug dealers, gangsters, etc. etc. I doubt if their are 3 black women in all of the USA managing in running a construction site like this one. Nikoline G this was a very powerful video. Nikoline G I really enjoy your style of Vlogging! Take Care
Hey! Nickoline. This is one of your best and interesting vlog ..oh please give the person who you are talking to ,to finish their sentences when explaining, before you interrupt them..Your friend is a cutie. 🥰
Hi Honey. Wow! That was really awesome. It's always so great to see you with your family and friends. Your friend is so awesome. If I were to have a house built in Kenya which right now would be a dream then I would definitely contact your friend. Thank you for the tour and the information. God bless you always and have a great day. Love you my beautiful friend. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am very impressed with your abilities I recommend you eventually get ur certification like my parents always told me it is better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it ❤❤💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏿🙏🏿
Excellent video. I wish I could give you 1000 likes but I can only offer two for now. Quick question for a newbie. Are the concrete columns and in general all elements for purely structural reasons always in the architectural drawings? Or do engineers have their own plans with all the structural and safety stuff? I'm asking because I'm designing our future home in 3D and I haven't added any columns yet. I should, shouldn't I? If so, where do I place them? You're the engineer 😅
Thank you so much for always coming back to watch my vlogs to get into your questions I think the columns for a two storey house may not be necessary if the load bearing walls are designed & built properly I think you’d not need the pillars also depending with the foundation……. But concrete on internal load bearing wall, inside the house. Besides that is the quality of the foundations for the load bearing walls. I don’t know what any other engineer in the house would recommend 💁🏾♀️
@@NikolineG That sounds reasonable. I will check with the locals in Ruiru. I know they had some serious structural issues there also due to the humid soil. I will redesign my ideas including some solid columns

I'm a Site Supervisor in Construction Management in New Zealand and its awesome to see how construction is done in other countries. I must say, these sites are very different to ours we are not allowed to do many things that I see in this video lol but your friend is doing a wonderful job. Really interesting video! How long would it take to build a 14 story building in your country? The fact that one person manages the whole building is literally insane to me. For a site this big in NZ we would have : 1 x Project manager 2 x Site Managers 4 x Site Supervisors 1 - 2 x Junior SS 2 x Quantity Surveyors 1 - 2 x Junior QS 1 - 2 x Engineers Plus regular meetings with Facade managers and heaps more people in the team. Much love from NZ 🖤🤍❤

Architectural is for the layouts but you need to have the structural for column rebars
@@nancymwangi1250 So that means it's for the construction engineers and not for the architects?
@@TCE_Njerico for the structural engineers.
So you did "building technology" in college. Is that something closer to Architectural Engineering?
Yeah some units
