You and your friend did a good job 👍 I hope Nasto, Mayugano, BT, Mwita Jr. Pablo Jr. and the rest of them who were blessed enough to find y'all continue to treat y'all right. I also hope they realize the rare gem or jewel y'all are, because men in the USA diaspora wish to find women like y'all, kind soft spoken, embrace femininity whole heartedly, strong and to top it off y'all Love the FATHER (GOD). ❤❤❤✌️🙏 BLESSINGS
Ms. Fle the thing about this dish is that you can stuff them with so many different foods such as fruits vegetables ..red meats ..poultry or seafood in the future you may feel the need to try something different. Ms. Fle you are proving to be a great homemaker for your family 😊
What you’re thinking of is Sambusa. We don’t usually stuff mandazi. All that you mentioned can be eaten on the side with mandazi but not stuffed. The way she made them was right.
@@naomie2444 I never said it was wrong there are just different cultures and how foods are prepared differently. I admire Ms. Fle she is the queen iof her realm and is a great homemaker
In the Caribbean, we make something like this except for the lime zest. Also, we would mold it into balls or flat thin circles. If we fried or baked them, some islands may call them johnny cakes or bakes, etc. And yes, sometimes people may stuff them!😊 Another thing we make is boil dumplings or floats with flour, salt, cold water, (optional: corn meal, coconut), knead together. Roll them in balls or flat circles. You can even cut them in the same shape as you do your mandazi. Then boil. Enjoy with escaviche fish, chicken, meat, etc.
It's ok to do these types of videos every now and then, I enjoyed it was relaxing and camera person did a good job❤ and the mendazi looked good thanks for showing us how to make it.❤❤❤❤

Mandazi is a comparison to a donut in USA, so an African Donut. In Hawai’i we have malasadas, Hawaiian Donut. Yummy!
Yes, it’s similar to American donuts 🍩
Next time will you show the package of the flour (self-rising?) and share the ingredients that you use for the mandazis and for ugali. Thank you.

For cutting the mandazi, use pizza cutter easier than knife
USA WATCHING A MOVIE 🎦 🎦
You need a plastic pastry cutter
Are you not cutting the counter top tiles and thereby destroying it?
