It’s all very well raising a lad to be strong and deal with life’s disappointments but all kids need empathy, hugs and tenderness too. Even if they don't get married they should have some documents in place to ensure either of them will have a say if something tragic happens to either of them. If they don't do that then medical and financial access and decisions default to the closest adult relative or the government itself.

Life sends down curved balls all the time. It's the measure of your character about how you deal with it. My daughter danced classical ballet since the age of five. It age 13, she was the youngest ballerina to be in the Australian Ballet. They have a special high school where she excelled. When she was 20, they toured the USA. In New York, she fell in rehearsal and broke her back. It was over. 16 years of dedication came to an end. She recovered but would never dance again. She went to uni and now she lives in London and is a successful lawyer specialising in human rights. She spends every third week at the ICC in the Hague, and is part of the Prosecutors team working on the case against Israel for war crimes. So when one door closes, another opens and you must go through it.
Seriously though. When I had my hip replacement surgery it was after my spinal injury and I had to lay on my back with a huge brace around my ribs,hips, waist, and in between my legs for 6 weeks. It was so painful.

Poor guy needs surgery on both arm’s, can’t use the bathroom alone, can’t eat not brushing he’s teeth, not coming his hair 😢 that’s a nightmare 💔 I feel so sorry for him.

My son cut the plaster off his broken leg and rode in the BMX finals and won. Now he is going on 56 and is still riding off road motorbike. When will he ever learn?
Lee should paint his casts green and play the hulk for his boys 😊😊😊. My daughter had scoliosis surgery. She spent a week in the hospital and then recovered at home. 19” rod and 25 screws. She was riding her horse 4 months later. Not fast just walking around.

@@AccidentallyOnPurpose Cars are a pretty insane idea, too. CARnage. Almost 30,000 people were killed or seriously injured in traffic accidents in the UK in 2022. And then there are all the domestic and wild animals squashed, the pollution, etc.

The only reason I haven't is I can't even drive to work without nearly getting into 3 accidents a day because absolutely nobody here knows how to drive, and I practice defensive driving religiously because I can't afford to be without a vehicle, even if it wasn't my fault.

I know they have done them at school, but our family dr does a much better job so I go off his recommendations for it. So just wondered if it was part of the regular checks in any way?

I love Laura and Lee, but she says over and over again “Lee is an amazing dad. Me and the kids appreciate him so much”. Which I love and think is wonderful. However with how many times she says it, yet they still live apart after all this time…there is another story that is not being told. If they had wanted to be married then even a quick trip to the courthouse would have worked, or even just a small intimate ceremony. But they are not married. They are not living together. Not sure if they are currently together. That’s a hard situation and until they figure it out, probably better for it to remain as is, especially for the kids.
I hate it when children get their hearts broken and cry. It’s terrible. I like to see joy in children’s eyes. But I know that all experiences are learning experiences, and they all help a child to learn and grow and become the person they are supposed to be.

The problem is that a lot of motorcycle crashes happen because people are given licenses who have absolutely no idea how to drive a car.
