I need one of these in my life. JUST the right size, with Nordhavn standards of quality. Superb.

wonder can the N41 be ordered with slightly more powered engines for the sake of more speed!?
    Thanks
    great well done job

Since no pilothouse, does the deckhouse layout provide for companion/co-pilot seating? For it to be a true "couples" boat, particularly if built for extended cruising, this is a must. Too many trawlers in this size range only provide a captains helm with no place for your partner to be a part of the journey. The Nordic and American tugs do a good job of meeting this need.

The helm seat is a double seat - designed for two people. Thanks

A single-piece (slightly curved) windscreen would look really nice and add to visibility.

I'm curious how strong the hull is? You know from log strikes etc.... she is beautiful. We are really hoping to order one.

What range is being talked about on this boat?
It would also help me to know its consumption/nautical mileage.
I don't see it as a boat capable of making an ocean crossing.

They took the N40 around the world so....

@@richardbrown4816 I don't know. I haven't seen a single video on youtube or, any user report with anything less than an N53 (Dirona), which, even, had to add fuel bladders to make a crossing and, reinforce the windows of the room, among other provisions. This can be a nice coastal and coastal resource with its limitations.
It seems that Nordhavn's business for ocean crossings has not been successful economically for PAE. This is the most obvious reason for taking out these small boats, which have another market far removed from the solid trawlers that we are used to.

Bocha Aula 49 in this video it stated the 41 will have a greater range than the 40; ruclips.net/video/rIedAVXOLRw/видео.html

3000nm approx and a certified category A. Of course depends on cruising speed but thereabouts.

Great concept, Jim, to compete with the Newell and Prevost land locked coaches.
Would the purchase price be in the same range as these high end coaches?
I have another question, concerning the total height of the boat from the water line. Can the N41 go under bridges that have 14 feet clearance like on the Champlain Canal linking New York City, Lake Champlain and the Saint Lawrence River.
I wonder why boat builders never give that info, it should be as normal as the draft?
    Thanks,
    Patrick

In looking at the line drawings, it looks like the bridge clearance will be 15 to 16 feet with the mast and davit in their working positions. I don't know how easy it would be to lower them for passing under low fixed bridges.

Nordhavn are really great designes but it hurts me seeing workers in China, Taiwan and here Turkey working without proper protection. The styrene from the glassfibre is really dangerous to the nervous system and will cause severe brain damage after prolonged exposure. That is a proven fact, there are also indications that it could cause pancreatic cancer....
But the risk of brain damage IS well proven since decades ago. And wearing a thin "dust mask" will not help prevent any damages, one has to wear proper/more expensive protection equipment.

Rikard Stenberg , this is the reason the boats are able to be built cheaper than the US, no safety standards for the employees! = cheap labor
