Cannot believe the AAA companies just conditioned players to be ok with shaders... back in the day we were allowed to pick our own colours in video games for free.
Never in destiny though so people will be okay with it. If you are speaking of halo then yes, i agree. But destiny has never allowed you to pick and choose each indivisual color so it's become normal for this game.
This, in my opinion, is the perfect example of what can be sold in the eververse: There are a ton of GOOD black shaders, do you want a vantablack shader? Perfect, buy it.

uh yea glowhoo, candlelight,nanopoesis, weldfire,kingspyre,The queens web, and many more. there’s also so much unique patterns and textures in the game that they can turn into shaders
I would rather have super black solo friendly.
I disagree, we do NOT need this shader as a reward if we have to beat Master raids or anything challenging. That makes it impossible for solo players to get. Just give the damn thing to all players & be done with it.
Yes:
1) Solid color shaders. Not just shaders that have multiple colors. I want complete one solid color shaders. In all colors.
2) Universal texture shaders. Shaders that only apply a texture. Can be used in combination with a shader.
3) Illiminated or glow shaders.

That’s a crazy suggestion just for a shader. I’d be so disappointed if Bungie makes it so difficult to get.

I'd argue its very much in-touch. They know how the community works very well. You don't have to like the answer, but the fact that Supeerblack was datamined in the game files sine Year 1 of D1, and still being reffered to by the unreleased shader's name shows that theres an interest there.
I wouldnt be surprised it was included in the last big update from a seasons/episode Destiny gets as its final sendoff.
I can just imagine it now, being Batman'd in crucible by virtually everyone. Use strand and it's basically his grappling gun.

I guess I just don’t get it. If everyone would love it and use it, then just do it. This “well everyone would use it all the time” or the “they should make it super rare or difficult” doesn’t make any sense to me. Just give us what we want. We pay for the game to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I don’t know why it has to be so complicated. It’s not a game breaking weapon. It’s a shader 😂.

You're not wrong with making the drop rate super hard. But it sounds to hard. Think about it, not players (that I know of) have gone flawless in raids, and other things. You'd have to be lucky to get these. At least try to put it in Iron banner since it is kinda hard to get those specific shaders you want
No luck for that. Pure skill and mastery would be that.
Luck would be making it like a o.oo1% drop rate. Tedius would be making it drop after 100 completes of every ritual activity.

Oh please for the w love of all that is left holy in this fucking world please PLEASE DON’T LET THIS BE LOCKED BEHIND ALL FLAWLESS RAIDS COMPLETED… I want an all black shader. Wanted one forever… they do that I’ll never get it. Right now I use Erebos Glance but most armor has that orange bit when I don’t want it 😭😭😭

Cause I'm getting real tired of selecting a shader and it applying the main color i want on a pocket or trinket or something and then making the main part of it _some color that's not even in the shader slices!_
Im not doing all of that for a shader 😂. I enjoy Destiny but not to the point to where Im gonna grind possibly hrs in hopes of something that should have been in the game to drop.

Why go to such extreme lengths just for a black shader? They could just make it like the black spindle mission back in d1 where you were timed on the encounter that alone would make it a bitch to get
As long as players are happy does it even matter never really understood the "Shader X is what everybody is using all the time" it's a problem. Why? players are enjoying themselves who care what shader they are using there will always be more shaders with unique properties via: glows, cloth, leather, chain, metal.
If they ever bring back super black they shouldn't make it crazy hard to get but maybe a reward from a fashion show or something less daunting like being gifted the shader like how twitch streamers can gift emblems

D1 legacy pack. Fan fav shaders eg -glowhoo, chatterwhite, superblack. Throw in some transmog things and stick it in eververse.
We players get some of the best shaders and bungie get some money. Win-win

Releasing superblack would be the equivalent of Always on Time. People wouldn't consider any other shader worth getting, because they would already have one which is objectively better.
Always on Time killed all sparrows, and superblack would kill all shaders.

easy. flawless all raids under an hour and a flawless trials card that week. Resets weekly if you didn't obtain it. then it's a real grind and something worth it.

The last thing the game needs is another thing only for the elite players.
Artifact armour, everything raid, trials stuff.
Give us the ability to rotate the shader triangles within a shader itself. It would effectively make each shader the same as 4 now then let us use that to do ultra black, super orange, blinding pink.
One of the main drestiny limitations is how the shaders apply to hard vs soft materials.
You want to really build engagement. Let each shader spin or rotate or invert its colours.

Yeah, but thing is not everything will shade all black or white no matter how hard you “experiment”.
We’d just be able to tell who doesn’t care about fashion. It’s objectively easier to go for all black, but anyone with any sense of fashion will either find a unique look for themselves or continually experiment. All black is not “objectively better” as everyone’s tastes are different and Bungie can just tune enemy outlines if it runs into visibility issues.

flawless all the raids in the game would honestly be a perfect way to reward players. high class shader, high level gameplay and mastering
The Titan in me rejects the idea of having the superblack shader in the game, in favor of embracing the crayola mess I call my normal armor set.... but the Hunter in me yearns for the one true shader... and I would overcome any and every challenge before me to obtain it

jokes on you bungie, ive already flawlessed every raid except crota now😂 i hope they make it hard to get. some of these flawless raid shaders suck ass, including the new crota one. it would actually make all my efforts worthwhile. the only flawless shaders worth chasing are vows and deep stones, the rest are ugly af and hard to match.
