- My last Metal Slug XX no death run has received a lot of good reviews, thank you guys so much :D Today I'm trying out a no death Metal Slug 3 run on the PS4 Pro! Hope you guys'll enjoy it too! PS: Turn on 1080p60 for the best quality of the video! Recorded on a PS4 Pro console

Metal Slug 3 is a run and gun video game developed by SNK. It was originally released in 2000 for the Neo-Geo MVS arcade platform as the sequel to Metal Slug 2/Metal Slug X. The music of the game was developed by Noise Factory. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2, Xbox (not compatible with Xbox 360), Xbox Live Arcade, Virtual Console, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android, Wii, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The game added several new features to the gameplay of the original Metal Slug and Metal Slug 2, such as new weapons and vehicles, as well as introducing branching paths into the series. It received generally positive reviews.

I beat ms1 2 and 3 once with no deaths bit only once and i was agoing super tryhard too cause I used to fail a lot of I knew the stage fromt to back and how to aboid being hit

the game outright lied that its the final mission for the epic twist in it's end, which really cought me off by surprised and made me literally drop my jaw. it was that awsome.
practically you get 3 missions after that - flying in space to get inside the mother shit. then the first section until you get to Rootmars (the big alien mother brain) and the real final mission is escaping the ship's destruction.

One of my favorite games from childhood. I remember this game wasn't in any of the arcades in my area, but then I found out they sold the game for the original Xbox and so the day I bought it, I played it until I beat it. Classic game.

It feels like this was supposed to be the final game in the series because, in the early 2000s, SNK wasn't doing so well as their franchises were abused by another company, who only saw them as nothing more than panchinko gold. A year later, they went bankrupt. After this, Metal Slug was picked up by a Korean company, with none of the original team returning, and produced the only MS game in existence (Metal Slug 4) before Playmore (now SNK Playmore) bought them back.

Stage 1: Fight against Huge Hermit without taking any damage when using the SV-001
Stage 2: Take Elephant Slug safe and Destroy the Monoeye UFO as in the form of Zombie
Stage 3: Do not steal the LV ARMOR from the rebel troopers And destroy the Jupiter King by on foot
Stage 4: Take the Drill Slug to be safe or defeat the samurai soldiers then kill SOL DAE ROKKER
Stage 5: Rescue Fiolina Germi as Marcrius Dennis Rossi and destroy the Rootmars
Stage 4 : Mission Impossible...Throw grenade to Sol dae rokker.
Better to steal the LV armor because it's better to be safe than sorry. When the LV Armor runs out of ammo, get out and fight Jupiter King on foot. And when Jupiter King fires its lasers towards you, get in the LV Armor. And when Jupiter King fires its missiles towards you in the LV Armor, get out. And when Jupiter King fires its lasers towards you, get in. And when Jupiter King fires its missiles towards you in the LV Armor, get out. And when Jupiter King fires its lasers towards you, get in. And when Jupiter King fires its missiles towards you in the LV Armor, get out. And when Jupiter King drops a ballistic missile towards the floor and fires its lasers towards you, get in when the laser nears you and get out when the fire ball approaches you. Wash rinse and repeat until you're confident Jupiter King is about to be destroyed and use the Metal Slug Attack to finish it off for good.
This requires dexterity and precision to avoid dying.

myyyy gawd that last mission is longer than the rest of the game lol. I did sooooo poorly on this when me and my friend beat the game. mission is so effing long I forget everything up to Morden is the SAME DAMN MISSION... BUT if I'm correct, this came out around SNK's problematic times with money. so here's my guess... this was gonna be the LAST Metal Slug and they wanted an Eggman Land (Sonic Unleashed, I know this game was first... I just don't know what else to compare it to as far as "this might be the last game we do, let's go all out") Magnum Opus of a final level. like we're ending this the most epic ass way we can.

Also, it's interesting that when you think about it the world of Metal Slug is the same world The King of Fighters is set in with some of the KOF fighters even personally knowing and sometimes work with the cast of Metal Slug.
No, the remastered version just upgraded to 60 fps which makes the game looked smooth
Well, the only characters from KOF that are in Metal Slug are Ralf, Clark, and Leona, which are actually from a different game called Ikari Warriors.

Great gameplay, I can't imagine how many hours (years) you put into this game. MS3 is a masterpiece, but this this pixelation doesnt do justice to the game's graphics. On the real CRT (or emulator with CRT filters) graphics in game looks way better because there's no pixelation. CRT aperture grille / slot mask also gives this perception that you can see more details and more colors.
