Tube-type ETT linear motor from Parker delivers high thrust

  • In this video, Design World editors Paul Heney and Lisa Eitel show an ETT linear motor from Parker’s Electromechanical Automation Division. The specific model featured in the video - in a live demonstration of the actuator stroke - is an ETT032 actuator. It’s an energy-efficient alternative to pneumatic cylinders because it directly generates linear motion without mechanical transmission elements like ballscrews, toothed belts and gearboxes.

    impressive specs, too bad it can't be used on mobile application due to its high heat emmition and high power requirement.
