Great coverage Tim. What always shocks me when I see what’s on the table at this show is the amount of great paint work. It’s by far some of the best you’ll see at one show. Thanks for showing Tim.

Tim! This was an AWESOME show! Thank you for sharing!!! There were a lot of spectacular top tier builds, I mean flat out outrageous beautiful creations even in the junior classes! You do really really fantastic model car contest coverages, thanks again!!!!
Great video of a great show. I just got a 1/16 55 Chevy to put together with my daughter, she loves art and crafts so I hope she enjoys model car building. I was inspired by your hobby lobby video.

I am humbled and speechless. What an honor to see my Green and Silver 55 Gasser. Special thanks to Tim from THROTLE POWER for taking a ton of pictures of my car in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Super thankful to Fred Henry for his attention to detail from the hand fabricated straight axle to the Corvette grill . the paint etc. Also thanks to my friend John Decker for sending me the video.
Doing this build to replicate Glen’s beautiful 55 Chevy was so much fun! Along with doing these builds as a “Build Off” with you was so much fun! It was equally awesome to display these hotrods side by side at this year’s ACME Southern NATS! Thanks to you Tim for getting me the photos needed to complete my build to the level equal of Glen’s amazing gasser!
It was down to the last minute Kevin. I was actually thinking the 55 was not going to make it there. In fact, Saturday morning (3 hrs before I go into the show) at 5 am I turned on the coffee pot in the hotel room and put the final touches on the 55. ☕🙂👍
The guy who owns the yellowish 55 in real life came to the show to see the build I did of his car. He's from that area where the model contest was. He was impressed and really liked it.
Heck of a show, I really want to go some day just to look (my models won't be worthy of bringing lol). Wish it wasn't 3000 miles away. Loved all those race cars beginning around the hour mark. So many quality builds.
This will be my first year going. Hopefully not the last. I don't compete in the shows anymore, have enough awards. Just go to look. Will look forward to your other videos.
Thanks Jimmy! I'm sorry you missed the show as I was really looking forward to spending some time with you there. And seeing your builds in person. As you know I LOVE your building style.
It used to be that you'd get 5 or 7 excellent models of this caliber that really stood out at any given show. Now there are dozens, and what used to be special is pretty average quality now. Our hobby has come a long way. My biggest complaint about shows now is that tables are such a cluster F and disorganized messes.
@@THROTTLEPOWERit’s really difficult to focus on and appreciate each model when things are cluttered, blocked by large displays, next to spinny things. Indeed a fantastic show, a lot of entries and tons of talented builders! Great coverage as always Tim, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
