I honestly love Misa sm, like her story in DN is so amazing and sad.
Like sure, she's the one who approached Light and wanted to help him and be his girlfriend, but he still m/nipul/ted her and /bus3d her, and yet once he was gone she was still depending on him sm that she y'know
And also the fact that she lost her parents before we met her, lost the person she loved and considered justice, and lost all her friends (L, Rem, this may also possibly include Matsuda who would've known she was the 2nd Kira and not have wanted to be near her or anything and Ryuk) only adds to the sense that her fate was sealed from even before the time skip and that she only helped seal it for herself
(This is my opinion though obviously others have their own and can disagree)
But yeah I just really love Misa's story and all the different things in it linking to the end of her story, even though her story was super sad and she definitely deserved better
It makes me so happy to read that there are people who love Misa too. Ever since I started watching DN, as soon as I saw her, she immediately became my favorite character. Maybe she behaved childishly and stupidly at some moments. This doesn't stop us from empathizing with her story. Although I'm still sad that her life ended so quickly...
