- We're back in the room to check on the birds progress through the annual moult. A close up look at this years Norwich Canaries and Redpolls and plenty of hints on tips on managing the annual replacement of feathers

So happy to have stumbled upon your channel. I've learned so much about canaries. I finally got a canary after years of only keeping lovebirds and budgies. His name is Myrtle. He sings non stop during the day. Shout out all the way from Trinidad and Tobago.

When a female canary sits on the floor of the cage for two or three days, you can tell what the problem is

Question regarding young canaries - are black markings on a beak melanin or a health concern?

Many young birds will show a black mark, I often find it disappears and is nothing to worry about
