I have had this fridge for 3.7 years and it’s still going strong. Quiet, uses very little power and has made life on the road a lot better.

I've had my 30qrt for 3yrs, works great it uses 30 percent of your full charge over night, that's the hard part trying to find a cooler under 30 watts when running, I'm looking for a lower watts fridge hard to find

I have the BougeRV (30) with the onboard battery. I've only used it 1 season so far, and i love it.
I'd like to know if anyone has the insulating bag, and if it is worth buying.

    Hi Kelly,
That's a nice fridge you have there. It looks like the perfect size for the van. I don't think the noise would bother me too much, probably help me sleep. I'm weird that way when it comes to white noises. LOL. Enjoy the fridge Kelly, I am sure it will serve you well this summer.
Take care and enjoy your adventures....Steve.

Nice review. I’m wondering if you took a recycled bubble wrap mailer (from Amz or FedEx), cut it open & trim so it covers the fridge/cooler opening and tuck it inside opening to keep cool inside better. I’ve done this effectively to save ice for my cooler, & am now thinking I’ll start doing it for my 12v fridge when traveling in warmer clients.

Love your videos! Off subject but I've read where Harvest Host locations don't allow minivan campers. We're going to retire with a minivan camper and would love to stay at some Harvest Host locations but from what I've seen online they don't allow our kinds of vans. Have you had any experience in this area? Keep up the great work! We appreciate your efforts to produce these videos!

I enjoyed your video. Thumbs up. The fridge is nice. I don’t have a fridge or stove. But I also only stay in cities. No blm lands where I live and I don’t camp in the woods. lol. Not for me. Anyways. Everything I need is close at hand in the city. Cold drinks, hot food. Here in Canada where I live groceries are very expensive. I’ve found it’s cheaper to go to restaurants. I only eat at restaurants with a rewards program. I also pay with a credit card with a rewards program. It makes eating out all the time very affordable. Anyways. Nice video and good review.

So... is this the variety without the compressor? The difference between the ones that MAINTAIN cool vs the ones that MAKE cool is about $200 or so. I can't tell which variety this one is...

I have the 23qt between my two front seats in my Sienna minivan. It seems to use less power than my last one (joytutus) and has a bit more even temperature inside.

I have the 30 quart just like the one you have. I absolutely love it 3 1/2 years and still going strong! I love the Ecoversion of it. It’s very quiet and it’s zips the battery. Also, just make sure you have plenty ventilation around the exhaust and intake. That will surely kill your little fridge. Also, sometimes when it’s real hot, I put a little portable fan into the intake. It really helps. Really enjoy watching all of your videos. Thank you for the effort you put into making great content.

Same here, have this fridge for about the same amount of time. Good advice about ventilation and using a small fan on the fridge.

8% of customers have had failures, particularly not reaching freezing temps and barely refrigerator temps. They also said customer support is awful when you do have an issue.

@@bme7491 The only issue I’ve had with mine is dropping a jar of pickles on the digital readout bar-cracked it badly but everything still works.

I have had the 30 qt cooler for 2 years and it has functioned flawlessly. I carry it in the back seat of my pickup with some boards under the rear end of it to level it and it works great. We have used on several extended trips now to the southwest and wouldn't go back to an "ice" chest on a bet. (added) When driving I keep it connected to the dc socket of the pickup. When stopped I connect it to one of the BougeRV battery packs for short term or to my Jackery 1500 for longer term.

Why would you carry in the front seat?Just put it in the dam back sea and then if you have to want something to drink other than the one that you put in the front seat, the can of Cocoa, whatever that's pulled off to the side.Don't put that thing in the front seat

  • @ComradeQuestion42069
    @ComradeQuestion42069 4 месяца назад

Do you attach it to the front seat with bungie cords or do you have another way of keeping it from moving? Also, got a link to that power socket?

Nice to see you back🙂! Your fridge review was spot on ✅️. As far as putting it on the passenger side floor space, was the seat pushed all the way back? And yes, the small handles would seem losing a grip a real possibility. Then you'd have a broken fridge, food landing everywhere and nowhere else to keep food cold. And having to wear ear plugs at night because of the noise of it turning on ( I'm a light sleeper, I think 🤔) I wouldn't want to do. Compromising hearing at night in unfamiliar surroundings could be dangerous. I'm looking forward to what else you have in store in your upcoming videos👍.

Hey Joann! I don’t think adjusting the seat would help it fit on the floor. Yeah, I kind of hate wearing earplugs too…

Stay away from this company, they are giving me the run-around. Nothing like sitting on the front porch and get a message that your package was delivered. Called Bougerv and UPS only to get overseas phone support who don't fully understand English as a first language. This company offers neat stuff for sale, but I will never do business with them again. IF my product ever gets found and arrives, I will give a poor review when I'm prompted to.
