I'll tell my kids about Rooney. Being a United fan was a glorious time. Didn't realise how good we had it, when you look at the state of our club now. Give us a Rooney. A Keane. A Neville. A Carrick (🐐). Need some heart in the players
I am the same age as Rooney and live near the UTD training ground. I remember driving past him on my way to a construction job everyday for years. I was in a Vauxhall Nova I bought with glass collecting money for £30, Rooney had a Bentley at 18. What a life he has lived super lucky. Life has been a graft for me.
Rooney alongside Ronaldo were my absolute favourite footballers at United ever since I was a kid but Wazza was different, he stayed long enough to fulfil his status as an United legend, more so then Ronaldo to be honest with you while I was growing up but them two will always be my favourite footballers.
I miss seeing him score 40 hard screamers and the commentator going 'its ROOONEEEEEEYYYYYYYY'. Nowadays it's all just pass around the six yard box and tap in, players don't want the social media ridicule if they miss a screamer because they're more bothered about being a celebrity than an athlete.
He actually does support Celtic cause he's an Scouser from Liverpool with an Irish descent and he also has a tattoo of an Irish cross on his left or right shoulder.
This is such a useful video, really good and clear explanation. I now understand why the bass on my last track sounded so different on various systems. I learn more from your channel than anywhere else, thank you!
@ oh yeah he reached an amazing level which I think is even more amazing given the lifestyle he had. I just think he could have been even better with more longevity if he took good care of himself.
I loved rooney but there is a reason SAF was choosing Ronaldo as the main man. Not off the pitch stuff but pure talent on the pitch and Rooney was a monster. Just happy I saw the greatest United team, the greatest manager of all time, the talent, greatness mixture with generational talent we will never see that again during this lifetime.
We all give these players a lot of stick it just comes with the game but as a football fan I want to give thanks to all the players over the years who gave us some brilliant memories we will never forget.
Rooney what a player for man u he was brilliant hes a living legned his up there with top players in the world man u would love rooney now and helpbas there struggling in prem at mo need alex Ferguson back 💯
I’m a Liverpool fan of 29 years … always thought gerrard was the best English player to grace the pitch but I do recognise Rooney as the best … very close to the pair for different reasons but he was elite
@@FracturedParadigms Rooney looked class in a Utd team full of superstars. Gerrard carried a terrible Liverpool team but certainly didn’t stand out in an England side full of superstars. Im not even a UTD supporter but Rooney is the greatest English player ever.
He was the heart of Manchester united, only few will understand this. This kind of mentality is no longer in my beloved club.We are Cursed with Rashford and the likes who should be leaders and somehow the fans expect world class performances.A damn shame.Miss the good ol days❤😢
If he had been more professional with his diet etc he would be better regarded and more fondly remembered and admired. But he was one of the best players ever in the prem.
Let it always be remembered that Wayne Rooney broke 2 bones in his foot, kept playing for Man Utd until the end of the season, then went to the 2006 World Cup with England
If you're building an all time prem team, it's tough not to put Rooney in there. Versatile, not just position and but his approach. If it's a scrappy game with both teams booting one another, you want him. If you're 1-0 down with 10 minutes to go, you want him.
Bollocks to the so called lack of professionalism. Rooney is a legend. Managed to be one of the greatest strikers in the last 20 years whilst drinking like a player from the 70s.
Not in top 100 players and thought he was like a Scholes when should of just been a striker and it amazes me the selfishness of getting paid that money and still not caring about the team! Its insanely selfish!!
What are you on about he literally gave up the st position for Ronaldo to benefit the team then when rvp signed dropped off to play as a cam for rvp to play upfront you have no ball knowledge 😂
Best English player to ever live and completely underrated by most fans

Liverpool fan here, spot on comment.
He wasn't even the best player at man United 😂
A superb player and totally honest about his own personal life

We need a Cantona and a Scholes more like
@DubSalvation it was just to name a few. You could go on and on
Forget heart and aggression or even a camtona at united. The game has changed and it's all tactical now

Penaldo is garbage
This guy was an absolute joy to watch sometimes on the pitch. A determination to win that could match Keane and Ferguson

Rooney is the greatest English player in history
Perhaps
@Jon14141 easily
Considering he was only good in one tournament, that doesn’t say much for our history
Bobby Charlton

One of the best players ever. Facts. Not that you might care but from a Rangers man 🔴⚪🔵💥
He supports Celtic too 👍🏻
Does he? Could of sworn he was Everton blue 🔵

'i werent the ultimate professional' what an understatement
He made up for that by giving his heart and soul on the pitch week in and week out
If Rooney had the disciple of Ronaldo I think he could have reached the same level
I think he reached a pretty good level mate. Comparing anyone to ronaldo is a bit unfair.

He would surpass him by far. Rooney was already better without the discipline tbh.

“ Cursed with Rashford” never truer words spoken. A fine example of the opposite of what a United player should be….from a spurs fan!!
Not all heros wear capes ❤
Rooney should've had an Adriano 2005 season, he never had it coz he regressed after 2008. He was so explosive when he was young
Makes ya wonder how good he could have been with a sharper focus on his footy.
Rooney man I love you so much brother

As a youngster he was better than Ronaldo
Yet players today are complaining about playing twice a week😂😂
Still the GOAT for England and United
He was the greatest English player ever, but he wasn’t England’s greatest player ever
Rooney 10 ❤
Did his career not go quickly? That one or two seasons at Everton sticks out more to me than that whole time at Man U.
I'm a gooner, but Rooney is the bollocks, great player great bloke
What a monster this guy was
Scary to think he coukd have been even better if he has took better care of himself
A few broken feet?
Thank god for the soppy music, otherwise I wouldnt know how to feel listening to this
For him to be injected so he could play ain't a joke of a player.
If he had the discipline of Ronaldo, he could've been even better. And wouldn't of been finished at 30
No one going to mention the guy at the end? 😂 Who was that? 😂
I thought he was world class .
Looked alright with shaved head, dunno why he keeps that weird fuzz still
Phil Mitchell.
Beast
He did have groin injuries
Loved a brass
A bit celtic bruiser
What’s with the sad music , lol. He had a great career and is worth a fortune. So he drank a bit in his younger yrs, like all of us.
Was a special player could of had a longer career if he looked after himself better
How much would he be worth nowadays
Prositutes and beer
Grannies and booze
What a combo
🤦🏾
Sad truth.
