I attended my freshmen orientation for UC Davis during 7/14-7/15. I had tons of fun, and I hope you enjoy. Also, it gets insanely HOT in the summer at UC Davis so stay quenched :')

I did my undergrad at UCD. 4 years will go by quick, enjoy as much of it as you can and don't get sucked into drama!

heyy. so since you went to orientation, does that mean you've already signed up for classes or do you still have to register during Pass 1?
heyy! yes, i already signed up for classes, but since i didn't get into my spanish class, i will have to waitlist that class during pass 2 (mine is in september; it's different for everyone)

hi! could you elaborate with what you mean by hold? and there is plentyy of time to work on choosing classes/making schedules; all the orientation leaders are very helpful, so i'm sure you'll be fine! :)
Tiffany Yang i have a hold when i go to choose my classes, its something about my residence. I really hope they can help me at orientation... mine is on the 27!! so excited !!
Cool vid, I also want to study nutrition science and want to attend UCD. This year I'm a senior in high school. Were the personal insight questions difficult for you? I've been having trouble with them.😬
Hi! Thank you. My advice for the questions are to realize that there are tons of applications the admissions officers are receiving, so make sure to stand out! Don't be afraid to take risks, and make your writing interesting. Have a couple people read and give you feedback on it, but don't ask too many or your essays will be too jumbled. Amanda Fuentes hey!! I recommend bringing all the necessities for living one night (there is a packing list for orientation on the davis website). Also, definitely bring a water bottle (it was extremely hot when I was there and there are hydration stations around campus), laptop, and an extra blanket (they only provide a thin blanket). Other than that, nothing in particular :) just have fun!

hi! no it's not, but most dorms are all pretty much the same so it gives you a good idea of what it's like living at the dorms :)

oh wow haha. i'm just a junior in highschool but i'm already looking at UC Davis as my future college. my school has visited twice and I have to admit.. I'm in love w/ the campus. i'm just now looking at what the school has to offer.

Mayank Malhotra it depends on the major and the amount of college credit you have from APs, IBs, summer courses...the language classes at ucd are amazing, and I'm taking one even though it's not required :)
