I see all these comments about how the Hellcat is "American crap" and "A heavy boat" and I agree it is a very heavy car but you have to put into consideration that first of all it's RWD second of all its 707HP... Of course your gonna lose to an AWD lightweight 700hp super car. AWD will almost always beat a RWD car off the line. It also doesn't help that the driver of the Hellcat was absolute shit.
Dismay if I remember correctly, the aventador is heavy, too. Somewhere around 4000 pounds, whereas the hellcat is around 4200.

That guy really needs to learn that there's more to launching the Hellcat than just flooring it from the start. When launched properly on some decent aftermarket tires the thing easily stays with things like the Lamborghini Huracan, Aventador etc.

The guy in the hellcat thinks that turning off the traction control is making him faster when in actuality it has him dangerously going all over the road and having to let up. He needs a lot of practice but everyone does this when they first get a hellcat.
And he needs wider sticky tires.
Even with that he would be all over the place, you want to turn the traction off maybe for the burnout but for the actual race put it on street mode and it will stay nice and straight.
