Best interview ever of Michael. Just saw him in January and again in February, Everybody was in top form, it was fantastic. So proud of this man, all he's been through, such an inspiration to musicians and people around the world .
Cristy Rawks Listen to UFO....The albums are as follows: Phenomenon, Force It, No Heavy Petting, Obsession, Lights Out, Strangers in the Night. You will no LONGER be a "Schenker virgin"...and you will be witness to one of the GREATEST and certainly one of, if not THE most underrated guitarists in rock history, EVER. To HELL with Clapton....SCHENKER IS GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
A true, virtuoso of our age. We're so dang lucky to be able see and hear his live shows. Tons of cool, and jamin' music from this guy and apparently they'll be a lot more too. Yay!
nice interview here. and Michael seems energized ... im happy to see this. his place inthe history of rock guitar is so important =im sooo psyched to see him Jan 26th 2014!!! BlessingsMichael
The best part of this interview is the fact that he keeps repeating the fact you need to write together .You need to be a band. Feed off each other..and in that way..have fun and bring it back.
I just saw them in last March of 2014 & I'm still in awe of that show. All the greatest M.S. one wants to hear. Got lucky to see him in Lights Out tour opening for Rush & right away he was my favorite! Than I actually saw him in Scorpions opening for Ted Nugent & they Blew Nugent off the stage. Totally stoles the show. The greatest I'll ever see is Michael Schenker & I've seen them all.
Daniel, As far as I know, Michael only played three shows in Europe on the Lovedrive tour before quitting Scorpions. Are you sure it was Michael playing with them when they opened for Nugent? If that was in the States, it was most certainly Mathias Jabs on lead guitar. Seeing UFO opening for Rush must have been one of the greatest live concert exoeriences ever! So jealous!!
great interview..lots of info...and Michael..just don't stop!!! hahaha...he just keeps rolling...lot of enery this guy. Glad to see him still rockin in 2014~ Saw him back in 1980 on the first MSG tour.
Michael's thinking right about laying recording tracks and putting them away for awhile. Creativity always changes within time, and reviewing it laeder seems lead on to better perfection.
First of all, I love Michael and his playing. He's genius. But to share something funny, someone on another video said that Michael looks like he died of AIDS at a biker rally, and then was dug up a year later, lol. I dont know most of the struggles that he was involved in, although Im guessing that it was drugs and/or alcohol. I did find a video of him on here where he is really heavy, with a full beard wearing a leather jacket and beach shorts while playing, lol.
Cool hearing Michael break down his craft. Can't wait to see him again, hope he tours forever, best ever.

Michael is so awesome and what's even better about this interview is that he is unknowingly giving valuable advice! Love Michael!

Best album in many many years. You`re right on this! :-)
Sorry, I meant temple of rock. It was much better than Bridge the gap.
Micheal's such a deep and considerate thinker, he has one hell of a time putting it into words: wicked vibrato though ;)

Great interview!! :)
He was great last night.
See, kids, that`s the secret. Use a tape recoder, not a mp3 or wav to capture your ideas. ;-)

The background Music:very very annoying!
That barely audible music playing very quietly in the background is Schenker's latest album
