*Literally 99% wont see this but if you do, God bless you, stay safe and have a wonderful day❤️* sup its been 7 months :> It's actually been almost 2 years ago and 2022 sucks 😕😕
It's so good to see somebody do braids for the first time and it doesn't come out looking extremely professional and only takes like 4 hours, lol. I take almost two days to do braids on myself, and the back ones are always wonky lol. Love this style on you ❤️️
Some things i've learned when doing my own braids/twists is: do an ACV wash on the hair to prevent scalp irritation, use about fingertip width of hair, and the crochet/rubberband method is super easy too install!
The most annoying thing is when you think you're almost done with your braids and that tiny part left is split into four😂😂😂 hit like if you've felt this before
Doing my own braids has saved my edges and scalp during protective styles🙌🏽 especially when l started doing knotless. Yours look so good for your first time! I've been doing it for a couple years on my own head and will definitely say smaller braids are more forgiving and practice makes perfect! Love your videos ❤
I discovered Lisette on hair Instagram videos...you used to do short hair tutorials and they looked so cute..you had like 500k subs when i started watching you on yt..i just love how Americans support their RUclipsrs ...am a small kenyan youtuber and i hope i will get support too and make my dreams as a content creator come true🤗🤗
When I had my hair braided the first time my scalp was SO itchy and irritated. I thought it was the products used but turns out it was the hair. The next time I soaked the extensions in a bowl of Apple Cider Vinegar & warm water for an hour, rinsed and repeated. SO much chemical residue came off and I didn’t have a sore scalp and could have the braids for a long time! If yours does get irritated now then just fill a sink bowl with ACV&water and dip the hair & your scalp into it. I guarantee it’ll help!
Yessss sis! I encourage every black girl to learn how to do their own box braids because it’s saves soooo much money. And you know your hair better than anyone else. Don’t worry, You will get better with time! 💕
They look so nice ! ⭐️I think I’m going to do mine like this next time! I like the ‘not perfect’ look much more ! Don’t worry about the parts being super straight and neat because it looks just as good 😁 you did a great job ! Thank you for sharing ! Definitely inspired 😘xxx
Honestly I just want you to know that you are gorgeous in any hairstyle you do or outfit you wear. And your aesthetic is just sooooo cuteeee 🥺 I wish I had a life like you.
I compleeeeeeetely related to this video😂🤣 I've tried braiding my own hair without any fibre and that was already a hassle, especially making the paths. I think your did great for a first attempt, super cute**
I'm also gonna try to do tomorrow! And I'm nervous cause I already tried sometimes, and ain't really bad kkkk so I give up! But I'm getting a shot again
I love how he helped u part your hair

She the real og tbh
i just did my butt length small ones , they turned out great & the process get better after doing them over & over again ❤️!
Me too, but I couldn't sleep 😭😭
I just finished my first time doing my box braids, and when she almost cried because it was over I felt her.
😂😂 I know the struggle with parting in the back.
I’m excited because I remember her struggling to keep braids in for long due to her sensitivity
her sensitivity? what do you mean
Lisette always tends to experience scalp issues when she has her hair braided- itching, inflammation etc.
Ok idk why. Like this wasn’t even on my home page but I just looked up taking out box braids for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON and god led me here:)
Can we see
RUclips did...

I can’t even do my own conrows let alone do my own braids 😂
girl braids are so much easier than cornrows 😂
box braids are wayy easier than cornrows lmaooo
Cornrows are braids tho.... and there so much harder than regular braids
Cornrows are definitely harder because you have to connect it to your scalp all the way through 😂
I know how to cornrow my hair, but I can't do braids. I've tried all techniques. All. I've got zero grip.
Your hair has grown so much over the years! I loveeeeee this 😎
If you’re reading this ,you are loved, amazing, and I pray your dreams come true ,just as much as I pray my RUclips dream comes true .

Also, even if the hair is pre-stretched it’s better to still stretch it out. It will help with the thickness struggles xx
Absolutely love this video! I have wanted to do my own box braids for so long now and keep putting it off! You have just motivated me to get it done 💜

Bless ur fingers sis😂💕
Wait can we talk about how cute lisette’s hair is blowdried straight it could be a look ngl 😍💗
the amount of serotonin i just got from this video 🥰🥳
I feel like the scalp irritation comes from the packs of hair. Do a apple cider vinegar rinse on the packs of hair and your scalp should be good.
Curl gang!!! ❤️
Yasss queen rock it
Lisette you actually killed this... the PARTING WAS ON POINT!!
Your makeup is so pretty!!
Yeah right I was thinking the same have a great day
I LOVE them. So relaxed and boho looking.

lisette : the parting at the back isnt gonna be perfect
