Jan Kubelik plays Paganini Caprice 6

I agree that this is the best recording of the 6th caprice. This is a difficult technique of Paganini's for other violinists to pull off, but a hint of the greatness of potential effect comes off in this performance.

This caprice is written to mimic a mandolin. I think Mr. Kubelik did a fine job in this performance.

I like it. It is a very smooth rendition. I've heard others that were choppy, and I didn't think as much of them.

emotional performing.Once Thibaud said that Beethoven interpretation of Kubelik was to much Sevcick, but not in this interpretation of Paganini.
