Who is Mr. Sinister? A character that the filmmakers somehow never got to. He would be a great villian of given a chance in the movies.

There are so many different versions of the character's origin. In one version, he took the name "Sinister" because it was the last word his dying wife uttered at him with her very last breath. Upon realizing what cruelty he had been performing through his experiments all along.

This origin story is different than the story in the comic books. Apocalypse creates Sinister. He doesn't create himself like he does in this episode. Most of the rest of the story is the same but it seems strange they would change that detail in the show especially since Apocalypse was the main antagonist of this series and the link between Sinister and APocalypse was already established prior to this episode.

The movies were really questionable in the FOX universe they never presented any character at their most purest. The first movie should’ve really focused on teens dealing with their mutant powers emerging and making certain choices to how to manage they’re mutant gifts either for good or evil joining either Charles Xavier mutant rights group the “X Men” or Magneto’s group who fights for mutant rights by any means necessary.Magneto and Professor X could recruit mutants across all over New York City and the World.Mr Sinister would be mentioned by his notes in the theory of evolution by Dr Hank McCoy and that some of the mutant test sites was financed by the ideas of Nathaniel Essex with his company being rightfully named Essex Corps. This would be the best way to represent Mr Sinister in the reality of the X Men by having him be the one who created the early mutants of the 21st century and later him being responsible for the deaths of the imperfect mutants known as The Morlocks. The Morlocks movie would also feature the character of NightCrawler being introduced with him seeking refuge after traveling to America to escape from the persecution of himself in Germany but only to find things are much worse in America as well.En Sabah Nur should’ve been the fourth villain of the X Men appearing after the storyline formed by X2:X Men United after God Loves Man Kills seeing the struggle of the current mutant race.God Loves Man Kills storyline would also see the introduction of The Sentinels who would receive their appearance from Days Of Future Past(their look in the 1970’s not the future).Caliban would be introduced as someone that government has working for them to find mutants captured by the Weapon Plus Project to find mutants and so the Reavers could remove them or capture them.Sugar Man would be introduced as the creature experimenting on the mutants on GenoSha who would amplify their powers for government use.Sugar Man being the mutant who experimented on Hank McCoy and gave him his blue fur appearance.

He would be a Mutate. A mutant is someone who is born with their powers and usually discovers it in their youth, like all of X-men. A Mutate is a human who gets powers through some kind of outside force. A good example being Bruce Banner when he got his powers after being exposed to all the gamma rays. Or when Peter Parker got bit by a radioactive spider and gained all the abilities of a spider.
