- Released around the same time as the first LP of the group Lehakat Tsliley Hakerem (also on my channel), these 2 bands competed to be the first ones to record these great Mizrahi songs, and Tsliley Ha'ud (Sounds of the Oud) managed to release their LP first, on the Koliphone label. Some of the same songs were recorded by Tsliley Hakerem (Sounds of the Vineyard) on their LP. These tracks mix Greek, Arabic, Jewish, Lebanese, and Yemenite influences to create a great mix of oriental and psychedelic dance music.

Israeli Eastern Folk Psy
I like this nomenclature xD
Sublime album with unique psychedelic sounds! I love the marriage between Arabic and Hebrew, as well as the beautiful oud and strings that give it such beautiful textures - much love from Belgium
Haud is a Yemenite Jewish folklore band. Yemenite Hebrew is in many ways akin to Arabic in it's accent. Obvious, because Arabic and Hebrew closely share similar etymologies and cultural tropes.
