playing with his tom groove, 1 and 6 on the tom hits and resolving to 5 on the 2nd half of the phrase is slick on this one, laid back and lazy Sunday kind of groove, I love it
Yeah, these beats are _so_ good for jamming to. I’ve bought all the packs from his website - not shilling, but well worth it. You can remix the stems, plus he does a fat, complete mix. Very nice. Best drummer on RUclips, I’d say (from the funk/groove area, I mean). Actually, sod it, I AM shilling! Buy his beats now! those ghost notes haunt at the right time.
at first its the drippin wet hypnotic cymbal that catches me, then the repetitive tom sequence felt like wooden fish in a temple played by a chanting eternal monk..
what an intoxicating beat. The way you play is so melodic its reminiscent of a guitar solo, yet woven into a structured beat that sounds like it could be a whole song.I can tell this is going to be stuck in my head for awhile.
