This was one of my favorite tours i have ever had in high school. I took a tour with my Epic drafting teacher for architecture. really cool and really epic place.

Great video. Thanks for the tour and thank you Phil Knight! I grew up in the Portland area as a hockey player, so I went to school back east, but I never miss a Ducks football game. Well, except for the National Championship game. I was in BC, Canada. We had a fire on the property and it took out my satellite dish. :( GO DUCKS!

My dream school, I moved to Eugene from Utah so I'm closer to it. A kid on my football team is good family friends with Tyrell Crosby.
why is it your dream school? I am extremely curious. you moved to a school to pursue the rest of your life based on your family friend being there? It wasn't based on academics or your future studies? I wanted to and did laugh, but felt sorry.
Dude this is your fukcing college. Do not base it on a sport you dont play.
ub3rweiner well you are wrong, I didn't move because of my family friend i moved because I have dreamed of playing football there, I have played football for 10 years, yeah it's unlikely to go D1 to play football but I'm trying to beat the odds, plus Oregon has a sold business program and I plan on pursuing that, just because I don't give all my info doesn't mean you can assume

not dissin' your choice of Oregon for a business degree, (they do have a good business school, plus I'm an alum), but unless you graduate top of your class, wha school you go to doesn't really matter, especially for an undergraduate degree.
What you get from an education is what you put into it, the non-class activities you get involved in, and the contacts you make.
Get as much practicum and intern experience you can. Volunteer for projects. Get as involved as you can. Get to know the professors AND graduate teaching assistants, (they may well be in a professor trac by the time you graduate.
Here's some advice I give to every college bound young person I meet or talk to. A lot of people don't know this, and most college advisors will not tell you this.
If you think you might go to graduate school, take as many graduate levels classes you can as an undergrad. You can use the classes for BOTH your undergraduate degree and a grad degree.
After you graduate, you have up to ten years to use the credits toward a master's degree.
You can also do the same thing while working on your Master's and apply them toward the course work of a PhD. When I got my Master's, I had close to 30 hours of classwork I could have used toward a PhD.
Also, if you have acedemic interests other than business, don't apply for your undergraduate degree. Take the classes in the other field. As long as you don't apply for your degree, the classes cost the same. Once you get a degree, then any classes you take will cost the same as graduate school classes, EVEN if they are undergrad level classes.
The reason no one at a school will tell you this is the school IS a business. If everyone who planned on grad school, or multiple undergrad degrees did the two things I just told you about, the school's revenue would take a hit.
Good luck, and enjoy yourself at Oregon. It IS a great place to go to school.
Oh, if you are a runner, make sure you go to MacArthur Court, (the old bball arena), and run on the wood floors that go around the inside of the arena. It is sheer heaven to run on those floors, (plus, there are stairs up to the mezzanine level, that you can take at each 'corner', then run the length of the building, then go back down to the main floor.

Mr. Knight got his masters from Stanford and his undergrad from UO and was an excellent track star. Read his book "Shoe dog", the story of how he made NIKE. I just completed it and it's a great read about a man, his vision, and his fight for and ultimate success. (I am a USC fan and loved this book).

My uncle is one of the many people that helped make the Marcus Mariota facility area and he got to meet Marcus Mariota which is something my Grandpa would have wanted to happen when Autzen Stadium was first built my grandpa had season tickets every year until the day he died.
