I love the percussive sound of the mic picking up the brush hitting the canvas. It definitely adds another dimension to each stroke. Just like the canvas, you've got a lot of layers here.

Trying to focus on your amazing painting instruction while being pulled to sleep makes your ASMR incredibly powerful. It actually puts me to sleep faster. I remember getting this experience from a teacher or two in the past before I even knew what ASMR was. Didn't know what it was back then but liked going to class because of it. Couldn't explain it. I know it's ASMR now. This doubles as sleep therapy and as a painting class. Also, you've definitely stepped up your ASMR. Audio is cleaner and better enhances your painting sounds and voice. The background you've chosen for your filming now is beautiful and just as artistic as your work. The sunlight on that plant in the background..I love that. Newspaper themed dress is cool. You've worked so hard and are so skilled. Cheers

Hi Laurel, really great painting. I have a suggestion for you to try if you like. Using a spray bottle filled with water to occasionally mist the canvas can slow the acrylic paint from drying too quickly and can help with blending. Thanks for your video.

Being a former artist I can't stop watching. Im sitting here trying to read a book while you quite my mind. I miss expressing myself through art ,i lost a taste for it after winning an award. The dinner was so stuffy,and anty art ,i just couldn't picture myself doing that for a lifetime. That,and some others stole some of my art from a notebook I lost,and you being an artist know how personal art notebooks are . So maybe you're a bit of a muse without knowing. Do you do pastel and chalk work as well? There's something that triggers me when working closer to a canvas , smearing Chalk's and such,its very personal.
🔷👋🏼Chica!!! In any drawing I always begin with the eyes whether a face or skull. From that point it gives my drawings, character and the position of the face. It’s just something that has worked for me. I can then figure out what type of hair I’m going to add. As far as colors go? I’ve been color blind most of me life. Just recently I’ve been utilizing color more and more. Which gives me more and more confidence in going for broke. I’m just thankful I was born with this talent and I just have a good time and it’s relaxing. Until I fk up😂😂😂then I stop cuz of frustration anger😂😂😂so I give meself a day or 2 before I attempt to draw or paint again. THANKS again. I can relate to everything you say. In the spirit of Halloween can you do a video with fluorescent paints and a black light on black canvas? Zoomed in on the canvas. I think that would look really cool especially with your painting skills and creativity. I really enjoy your videos. They have helped my sleep quality tremendously. Can’t thank you enough!
