    Is he climbing without a fall arrest? I see it once he gets up there, but not on the way up, unless I missed something…

    Curious why you wouldn't use a normal commercial grade antenna like a DB408 or DB420 for UHF or DB224 for VHF?? Comet antennas are fine for base stations but junk for repeater sites...

    N8RL: As soon as new antenna, new feedline, through the duplexor was NO GO, I would connect a receiver to the feedline, bypassing the duplexor. You might as well confirm a duplexor problem with a 5 minute test.

    What was the old feed line? I ask because LMR400 will give this problem due to noise from this feed line.

    My problem is NO LOCAL clubs! Well, there are a couple, but they do nothing

      Yea they must be like the one I encountered,once a month meeting at a library
