  • In this video, I talk about the immigration crises in Canada. Despite being heavily reliant on immigrants to sustain its economy due to declining birth rates and an aging population, Canada is facing growing discontent as economic strains mount. From increasing unemployment rates and a struggling economy to skyrocketing housing prices and reliance on food banks, I explore the multifaceted challenges associated with Canada’s current immigration policies.
I also discuss the recent steps taken by the Canadian government, including changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and caps on temporary residents and international students. With economic indicators showing a mismatch between the labor market needs and the skills of incoming immigrants, I question the effectiveness of current policies and propose data-driven solutions to better align immigration with Canada’s economic needs.
What do you think Canada should do to refine its immigration policies? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Blame both the government of Canada, and those immigration agencies promoting immigration services to Canada from the 3 world nations with high uncotrolled population..

Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides.
India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves. Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country?
Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students money. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY.
Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising ... PRIMARILY in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. They paint a false picture in the minds of their own people (of what Canada could or would or should offer Indians)!
Canadians are seeing primarily Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there repetitive crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too. And Canadians are seeing the Indian protestors carrying signs telling Canada (one of the most tolerant countries on the planet) to end it's racism (by not deporting)!!!!!! Really angering Canadians. Plus signs saying CANADA used them ... with zero mention of India's numerous mistakes! Angering Canadians.
And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students.
Canada's own are also victims of $ greedy Indian 'agents' who lied about Canadian PR to Indians. Due to severe lack of homes & entry jobs in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS creatively swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS, with vast majority fighting for PR versus returning home without it when SCHOOLING ends! Regardless of their qualifications or Canada's needs. Many asking for asylum too (which Indians rarely qualify for). Canada PR has NEVER been tuition purchasable.
    Questions:
⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting? Many Indians keep saying their politicians are corrupt. Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Many in or near Brampton Ontario, and Surrey British Columbia, where most Indians have lived. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is now shutting down.
⦁ What about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a shirt? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian citizens.
⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies?
⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages?
⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge them each way too much for rent.
⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System.
⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why????????
⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border.
Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too?
Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control (yet)? Why should Canada pay for what Indians did to Indians?
Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).

Why is it a crisis? There is no crisis. Canada wants 100MM people to populate this land. Many countries, particularly India are shipping over immigrants to help Canada out. As for shortage of housing, food, infrastructure, every immigrant has the basic animal instinct of survival. One way or another, they will figure it out. Meanwhile, the Canadian government can simply keep hiking taxes to reap the profit.

Canadians do not want that at all. Canada, like the rest of the western world and large parts of the rest of the world, especially East Asia, are going through the same low birth rates. Canada and the others need to swim with the current, let the population stay stable or even decrease slightly over the next 10-20 years. Let housing prices come down so that the income to house price ratio get back to a reasonable level. Also, macro figures like total GDP are useless. GDP per capita and average wealth are far more important to prosperity.

@@Buckshot99 well, the Canadian government is in charge, not you or me. And the Canadian government wants 100MM people in Canada to pay them taxes. What can we do?
