Does it have a wide colour gamut (~90% DCI-P3)?

I understand that this model has NO picture in picture, while in EPG it is NOT possible to display current live program and list other programs and in EPG mode the TV interrupts all sound and picture from current TV program which makes you loose on the current program if you switch back from browsing in EPG. Since this is not a limitation of Android it is difficult to understand why Philips opted for this. I would NOT recommend this TV since this a a big drawback for me. Other brands offer same quality of pic, same price (plus/minus).

Could you please tell me what kind of ledpanel does the 55pug7906 ips tv have? The displayspecification site writes it has edge led but according to the sellers and experts it deffinitly has direct led because all 2021 models has direct. Thnx

While Using the firestick 4k I have set the sound output to Dolby digital plus so please tell me why is the switch beside Dolby Atmos not lighting up to then activate in sound settings Dolby audio processing only the volume leveller lights up with no option to switch

If I connect the HDMI ARC output, will the Dolby Atmos signal be transmitted to the receiver....or only if it is e-ARC?

@@philipstv will work, but only support lossy/compressed Dolby Digital Plus, not lossless Dolby TrueHd

La he comprado y estoy decepcionado porque no encuentro la función de ambilight "follow sound" para poder tener luz ambiental mientras pongo música. ¿Hay algún modo, actualización, aplicación o lo que sea para poder tener ese modo?

@@philipstv I have the same issue. In dark scenes it shows gray pixels. Nothing can be done. It can not decode low light pictures correctly. In "Vikings" you see only shinny faces quite often. Everything dark is in squares.

Das Betriebssystem läuft etwas zäh und die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten halten sich in Grenzen.
Das wäre zu verschmerzen wenn da nicht das Problem von der wirklichen sehr schlechten HDR Darstellung wäre.
Mittlerweile weiß ich dass das Gerät eine zu geringe Spitezenhelligkeit bietet und Edge-Light auch nicht für HDR geeignet ist.
Aber leider muss man es als Kunde erst auf die Harte Tour lernen, da die Hersteller gerne mit der Unwissenheit der Kundschaft spielt um ihr Produkt in einem besseren Licht da stehen zu lassen und das obwohl sie genau wissen das es rein technisch nicht möglich ist ein HDR Signal mit solchen Spezifikationen wie bei diesem Gerät umzusetzen. Nur weil das Gerät ein HDR Signal verarbeiten kann heißt es nicht das dises auch korrekt umgesetzt wird und trotzdem darf man als Hersteller mit HDR werben. Mein Frust geht nicht speziell an Philips, da andere Hersteller genau das selbe machen. Dennoch ist die Enttäuschung am Ende groß. Auch wenn ich persönlich jetzt weiß worauf es technisch bei HDR ankommt werden nach mir mit Sicherheit noch viele andere Kunden hinters Licht geführt. Ich hoffe Philips wird glücklich mit meinem Geld ich bin es mit ihrem Produkt auf jeden Fall nicht.
Geht mir ähnlich für teures Geld den Fernseher gekauft und von der Bildqualität gerade im HDR nicht wirklich überzeugt. Ambilight hin oder her

@@philipstv sorry but already returned. How does it take 3-4 seconds for a remote to be detected by TV. You fire all your engineers who worked on 7900 series.
