DU inserts aren't really what's special about the armor, tungsten inserts and DU inserts offer pretty much the same protection. Rather what's important is the armor generation, Australia is getting NGAP in their sepv3's just with tungsten inserts most likely as I haven't seen anything saying they changed their stance on DU from the original asking for an alternative to DU. Important to note though, they were offered DU, we do provide the option for nations buying abrams to have DU in their tanks.

In Australia's initial acquisition of the abrams they chose to specify that they didn't want DU. DU was available to Australia but they chose to not have it in their tanks. Guys come on... SPACING!!! Combat spread! you gotta work on that if you want to improve your platoons survivability! 200 meters or more between each other!
As much as I agree about the importance of spacing, space was limited once we went around the hill and north into PL Charlie. Overall this was a tight AO with a bit of restrictive terrain like trees and hills. We made use of bounding overwatching each other sections which worked well for us up until the end.
@@PhanPhantasy hell no, have you ever considered that USD isn't the only currency ? I got like 4-5 modules for the price of this classic game key. Also it seems like the Devs are allergic to just selling the game the normal way, they really make everything so complicated with the USB sticks. Actually is it even possible to buy this game outside of the US?
@chapman3641 the cost is $115 USD for the full license for the Pro Pe. If you were to compare it with DCS, you'll need a joystick, jet/heli/plane models, maybe some of the maps. Sure you can play for free but most people will spend more. The sims primary market is military institutions, and consumers like us are secondary. And USB stinks are common in government softwares and to protect its product from piracy. But I do agree it can be a pain to install and, I would love to see SBP available for all. I'm not American so yes, they do sell to people outside of the US (unless your country has an arms trade embargo). I highly encourage you to try it out 1 month license for $10 USD (no usb needed) go through the Abrams or Leopard tutorial, play a few SP games or play with us or with a community, and see if you enjoy it. You are more than welcome to try it out with us.
