I've always loved how floaty Spicebush feels. They spin so elegantly but I'd probably get a headache from all that spinning (explains the self-tremor).
@@TewbBelrog soku mentioned??? But honestly i agree so much... I feel like Yuyuko and Spicebush have so much in common.. being elegant, association with flowers and trees, and of course having gluttony
Despite the reuse of the sprites they definatly used less sprites on Dongbaek which I kinda felt made her actions seem more deliberate and punchier but I really do love how their bodys have so much movement its so fucking pretty! Lots of beautiful dynamic sprites
I love both Spicebushes they’re so elegant and pretty. They have to be the sprites I spent the most trying to figure out what they’re doing behind all the effects when playing.
To me, it was because of how mythical it feel. Using something that wasn't suppose to function as a weapon to fight, the power and effect feeling both elegant and beautiful, contrasting how grim, techy or destructive most fixer aesthetic in the city is. In a way, Spicebush is the E.G.O. that feel like the representation of the peaceful and relaxing dream contrasting the cold and chaotic reality of the City.
For future videos could you possibly display the entire set of images / the full 'sheet' for each move, after the frame-by-frame breakdown? Also my suggestion for next week is either Sinclair or Don Quixote EGOs: It'd be a very easy starting set because they both have so few.
yeah i prolly should do that, i was just too focused on working that i didn't really think about it, i also was thinking on what outro i should do for these type of videos, so that's a good way to do it
Amazing work on this, I watched the captain Ishmael one which was also pretty well done! Can you please do pequod trio with Ahab, Starbuck, and Queequeg?
Perhaps one of the multicrack ids. Or one of the Walp night ids. Or perhaps eventually a comparison video on the sprites of older ids and egos vs current day ones.
ah spicebush, did you know that the plant itself is gendered? In a way it's fitting then that there are two characters from the nine litterateurs of opposite gender who manifested its E.G.O in some way and represent the either sides in this dance
since people like the ishmael one so much, i decided to make these into a weekly content, i will do these once per week for multiple id's/ego's/enemies in a single video or if people want it shorter i can do just 1 id/ego/enemy but i do it twice per week instead.

Reminds me of Yuyuko's sprites in hisoutensoku in more ways than one. Probably one of my favorite visual designs in the game because of that.
Makes sense from what Dongbaek felt when Awakening her EGO, along with the meaning of her EGO.
the floatiness could also be from the nostalgia that the flowers represent how looking back on the past it always seems fluffier and more IDEALized
@@TewbBelrog soku mentioned??? But honestly i agree so much... I feel like Yuyuko and Spicebush have so much in common.. being elegant, association with flowers and trees, and of course having gluttony
also they're both dead

Living things are a lot more beautiful to look at when they are about to die
Just a saying from a villain in webnovel i read a long time agp
wow, I realized that Dongbaek's main weapon is not a fan, but a spear of sorts (she did use a fan on the phase transition)
They both do, on certain sprites they both are holding a Bush spear/halberd and a fan.
@@plasmur I always thought its a one-handed weapon when they swing it so gracefully

Spicebrush was probably the only EGO/ID that left biggest impression on me, I can't even explain to how and why but it did

@@setthaphongmasayna2880 Have to agree on that one, there is something astonishing about Spicebrush overall it might be it

at that point i might as well just do the pequod
pequod yisang, heath, ishmael
then the bosses
Comment down below for suggestion on next week sprite

Both Sunshower, absolutely.
I think N Corp Sinclair would be cool, or Dieci Hong Lu
one of the liu, rather rodion since u already did an ishmael :3
Philclair maybe?
Human decency is to be given to those not beneath human
Spicebush is the coolest id in the game, i kinda regretted not sharding for spicebush and shard for ringsang instead
These are so so cool, love your work!!
Thx, would love to know if you have suggestions for next week
Other thab erking because that one is already decided

That is an interesting fact indeed
huh, interesting how much work the vfx does giving the "spinny" feel to the attacks when the sprites don't actually spin the stick
They do, though? Like at 1:46
@@Robocrab-td8dr i guess its mostly with the s1
DELUGE!!!!
Warp yi sang! I want to see how the backflip is done
speeeeeeeeen
Yurodivy Hong Lu
Yurodivy Rodion
Potential Man (Sunshower Heathcliff)
Yurodivey Rodion?
bro is from the future
Can you do farmwatch?
i'll put it to a vote some time after erking
congrats, farmwatch will prolly win the vote at this rate
you should definitely do kimsault (he is my favorite id)
Will prolly do it on a full BL sprite video
Which will cover kim the boss as well i suppose
@@plasmur im pretty sure kim has like 50 sprites in total so good luck with that lmao
why does donbaek just feel like 5 times better
o
What are you trying to say man?
You did the same thing few dayd ago as well
I’m so happy you’re making more of these
