- This video demonstrates a bug that is affecting the mobile game Tomb Raider Reloaded, in which outfit rank ups fail to work as expected. This video intends to clarify how it occurs and its exact effects.
In the game, you can rank up outfits to boost their stat upgrades per level-up and gain addition abilities affecting the outfit or all outfits, by collecting enough pieces of the outfit you want to rank up that you already own.
Normally, the rank-up appears to go through as intended, but the next time the game restarts, it behaves as if the rank-up never occurred. All outfit pieces spent for the rank up are gone, and the outfit rank is back to 1. This is clearly not as we expected, and is certainly a bug that the developers need to fix.
This bug does not reset outfit levels, and does not affect any other outfits.
We hope the developers get to this bug soon and provide us new chapters that bring us closer to the end of Tomb Raider's story. It's only half finished with only two of the four main acts out, and I've already managed to beat the first half of the story after enduring the usual free-to-play difficulty. This is otherwise a great game and you should check it out. It's still a worthy part of a famous game series from the nineties.
I hear ya. The problem i have is that it says it gives me outfit pieces but then i look and i have no pieces to even try to upgrade. So i can't rank up either. I should have atleast 200 pieces but i have none. Im at the Tomb of Qualopec now. You have nice gear and good progression, double what i have. Kudos to you. It makes it so difficult to accomplish when we can't use all the perks and tools intended to play the game fully. I only have the classic outfit because of this. Anyway thanks for the video.
Also, makes ya wonder if that's where the "Reloaded" part of the title comes from. 😄
Happened to me too. So frustrating
Contact support chat in the in-game options with your account ID (also in options) and your outfit pieces should be restored. We're all still waiting for a fix for this bug as of August 2023.
UPDATE: This bug will be fixed in version 1.4.
