Thanks, was a tough game. Really enjoying being able to share these battle reports, as a group we can cover most theatre’s and armies! Thanks for the support
HUGE thank you! I really appreciate that, we are looking at running a few campaigns, Operation Barbarossa and The Battle of the Bulge... all in planning at the moment, as well as a HUGE D-Day battle with potentially 6x8ft board covering both para attack on a town whilst the beaches are being stormed... so will keep you posted. And as a Patreon, you will have the honour of either being choosing to be named after a character in the game, one of the officer with a cool nickname! Or another unit of your choice 👍 Thanks again.
@@theministryofminiatures No thank you! Really inspired me and I like to see you local Sussex/Kent guys progress! Very excited to see those campaigns and more battle reps. Being a named character sounds awesome too! Thank you so much. All the best 😁
Huge thanks, we want to get some campaigns going, thinking Barbarossa or Battle of the Bulge... just need to get a few bits lined up and commitment from the gang... as it will go over several months. Glad you liked it, nearly 500 subscribers... so half way to 1000! Fingers crossed 🤪👍🤞
Lovely looking models and table as ever, really enjoying these reports! One thing to be aware of with light autocannons - you either fire them as AT rounds with a +2 PEN and no template, or you fire them as HE with a 1" template and +1 PEN.
Ah, good point, No wonder I thought they were deadly! (Or deadlier than I thought). I don’t use auto cannons so rely on my opponent to know their army rules, mostly. Point noted 👍
Indeed, probably wanting to try to activate and remove pins that way. Each person views the risk vs reward of actions differently… and learn from experience.
Great game! Again it was very enjoyable! Note on firing on the trucks, with non AT weapons you can only do superficial damage to it. So the first truck would have taken “on fire” and the second would just have a “crew stunned” on them. Correct me if I’m wrong. Keep up the good work! I’m looking forward to the next batrep! 👍🏻
Hi, thanks, glad you enjoyed it! we did check, my understanding is that due to the trucks being 6+ to damage, a small arms fire that hits rolls a six to damage and then rolls on damage chart, superficial damage is only from anti tank etc and superficial damage is only for armoured vehicles, bottom of chart page 108, also in 1st paragraph page 109. Thanks again 👍
@@theministryofminiatures This is exactly what I mean. You only get the +1 damage on the chart for using heavy weapons against Armoured targets. You don’t get the +1 damage for hitting a soft skinned vehicle on the top or side with small arms fire. If your theory would be correct you would have suffered the -1 AP for long range anyway. Pg 106/107 brb.
Sorry, I’m not sure I follow!? The first truck I had a whole squad fire at it, needing various scores due to range etc.. some 5’s and 6’s, these hit… from these hits I scored a single 6 to damage, then role that one dice on the damage chart, again a six so knocked out. It’s not armoured vehicle so don’t roll superficial.
@@theministryofminiatures I read the rules again and searched on the warlord page and came to the conclusion that you are absolutely right. My mistake! Thank you for clearing it out!
Phew!!! I desperately wanted to minimise any mistakes so we did look up the rules as we went. Checking took more time, but at least we can be fairly confident that most of it should be correct… you did worry me for a moment! Thanks for coming back and clarifying. 👍🏻
What year was this supposed to take place? There were no flak tanks like the one in the game in 1940. There were none in Norway in 1944 when they first appeared on the mainland.
And you can do what if's like I do with my IS-3 in late 1944 with the Odor front in Poland and eastern Germany, it is quite funny on seeing the Germans struggle against a DV 12 tank to the front. Or if I bring out my BM-8-24 a vehicle that is in no supplement or campaign book, but how I run it is since it is on a T-60 light tank I add 105 points regular then another 20 points with my opponents agreement. Or like another game of if the Tiger I came out during the summer of 1942 for operation Blue instead of the winter of 42. That is what I like about this game you can actually do what if's if both player sides agree to it.
Yes, i think 1942, but it was just a representation, the force of the British Commandos were based on that force, the Germans not so much 😂… but it was a fun game and tough for both sides. Thanks and hope you enjoyed the time traveling Germans, now the Brits weren’t expecting that!
The only ones that do not take a morale test when hit with a flamethrower is Japanese infantry and weapons/artillery crew and teams, that is if there is two or more that remain as they are fanatics. But if you hit and cause all but one to become casualties then yes they then take a morale test. Just figure to put that out there when dealing with flamethrower hits.
Indeed, Stewart passed his test, and I ran out of fuel, so the flamethrower didn’t quite have the impact I thought it might.... better luck next time 😉👍😂
Good game to watch and welled played, loved the camera angels, fab scenery 👍🎲

La table est très jolie ! C'est agréable à regarder. Bravo. Wonderful table, it is nice to see. Good job !
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, we try to make our tables look good for our battles so it is more immersive.
Thanks again for the kind feedback 👍🏻
Really great game as usual guys.
As before you're quickly becoming my favourite channel and you've got me into Bolt Action.

Was the waffen squad fanatics? Bc they would’ve kept fighting in their assault. Fun game to watch tho!
Probably, but that’s for Stew to raise…
@@theministryofminiatures yeah, that is true
