@@MTVvids I drive for NCT and mainly do the yellow line 68 and 69 route we have a turning circle at snape wood that the omnidekkas won't fit round the gas buses just manage it and the e400s can fly round :D
@@terry141186 Ah, I love that turning circle at Snape Wood! Occasionally I've got a driver on an Omnidekka that did it in one (provided there was no cars parked there) but it did seem like a massive struggle.. As a passenger, the E400s seem much less stressful around there haha
@@MTVvids yeah it can be done in one on an onnidekka if there's no cars in there as you can get the bus far over to the left then full lock right once the rear wheels are level with the end of that little island in the middle.
Ouch - that corner does not look friendly, especially for the Red Arrow coaches. 9:00 I just love how so many companies make the "Sorry" look extra goofy Also, I don't know cab driver rules, but he _was_ on a double yellow there so I can't justify him, personally.
I can even remember when they had railings on the edge of the pavement in order to prevent buses from swinging over on that corner - so I guess it has got a bit easier for drivers 😅 True but I do like it when they say sorry - I get annoyed when it doesn't say sorry because I don't find it polite... lol The only cab driver rule I know in Nottingham - is that they like to do what they want! I could've forced the taxi driver in this video to get off the *pedestrian* footpath that leads into a shopping centre, but I didn't want to hold up even more people so I just thought I'll sacrifice my position that's supposed to be segrated from the road for a taxi driver who doesn't want to drive around the block for their oblivious passenger... Sorry, I get really triggered with taxis :/ 😂
No lol I don't mean about them saying sorry - it's just the way they format it. It's always in italic, or it's slanted, or it's got an exclamation point or something lol It amuses me more than anything, but I know it's just a politeness feature. Heh, I have more issues with vans more than anything. They don't have to be stationary or anything; they're just so big so they get in the way of everything. Since my stuff is mostly in Greater London, I don't have to deal with taxi drivers luckily. lol
The red arrows can actually take tighter turns than the omnidekkas as they have rear steering axles suprising how tight a turning circle they actually have.

@@terry141186 Wow, that's interesting, I suppose I can now picture how helpful the rear axle steering is now you've compared it to an Omnidekka :)
Cab driver rules are they do whatever they like
