Flood Bump and using grenades instead of letting the Flood distract the Covenant in the hangar netted me 04:13!
It would've been nice to mention the gap in the invisible wall you've got to jump over...
Honestly, made me quit trying. Can’t for the life of me stay on the right track…
My first 2 times I succeeded I fell through that. The third time I learned my lesson but it's just not easy to trigger the glitch makes me wanna give up but it was easier than trucking through the level on legendary I guess.
Heads up, there's a gap in the invisible wall you've got to jump over.

Tried this for about an hour and never got it. It is different for different screens and it has to be by the pixel. Search flood bump instead. Wayyyyy easier and way faster. Got it second try.
I got 4:52. Keep the armless flood around if you can. It lets you get a checkpoint as soon as you get on top of the hallway.

Is pushing in the floor above it and not the ceiling
I'm having trouble it's kinda working rather then putting me through the whole ceiling I'm getting pushed into the top floor above it help? Plz

If you can't get this lure Bruno the armless flood back to the very start of the level kill him crouch on his corpse and wait for it to reanimate and you will be pushed into the ceiling much easier then shield bump

I’m tryna hype myself up to go for this achievement I have the under 3 hours for 3,ODST, and reach. They’re by far the easiest in my opinion. I want to get this one out of the way next sense it’s my least favorite halo game. The speed running techniques seem really fun though.

Paul Herrera Yeah, the trick is pretty temperamental. It has to be almost pixel perfect. When you're in the final position before the shield comes back you want to make sure you are standing as well. I practiced for awhile not realizing I was crouching, lol. I'm sure you'll get it soon, though. This run in particular took me like a half hour or so, but obviously it looks way better when I cut out all the failed attempts ;)
I love the explanation and your way of doing the shield jump, every other vid has the weirdest way, your's is much easier with that little circle. thanks duude :)
GrandLastShadow Thanks, man! Yeah, every other video I've seen has a different positioning which is tougher to line up perfectly. I was messing around and discovered this one which is a little easier with that circle :)
Doesnt work at all for me...
The hardest part for me was finding my way through the geometry outside of the map. Eventually I pulled it off after about 45 mins of trial and error. The shield bump isn’t too difficult. I pulled it off every 1 out of 5 tries. Played it a little too safe in the keys room and missed the drop in the hangar once. Pulled a time of 6:35 and will come back to this one if need be. I feel like I could shave an extra minute or two off
Whenever you remake this speed run for PC like I think you plan on doing, I'd consider the flood bump. Got it done that way.
Use the flood spawn trick for this if you are struggling - lookup the guide by splee5556

Finally got it! Only I used the Flood bump method. Got 5:09

The speedrun achievement in general? Fortunately yes.

TheHeroFall5 Yeah it's just really tough to pull off at first. It has to be almost pixel perfect. This is one of the original glitches so they won't ever patch it (intentionally).
