Home. I’m soon turning 70. As an adult, I’ve lived in 27 places in three Canadian provinces. For the last few years, some kind of inner longing keeps repeating “I want to go home.” Problem is,I’ve no idea where or what that is. All I can come up with is that our current abode is not “it.” I don’t seem to feel “at home” anywhere.
Nonetheless, I’m making a comfort cloth. I’ve never quilted nor made anything at this scale. But I decided I’d start and see where it leads me. I’m happy with my outcome thus far. Maybe, maybe baby, ☺️ this comfort quilt will help me define where this elusive-to-me “home” is?
And in the meantime, I’m having fun and feel so part of this wonderful community of like-minded humans! And I’m learning a new, fun way to communicate as well! 😉

As they say, home is where the heart is! And it appears to me you're putting your heart into that quilt.
I'm 69, I'm packing up my house and moving back to the state of my birth after being away for 50 years. I have 7 siblings in the state to welcome me. I'm ready for this change.
I also realized that wherever I am, I need to make it home. ❤
